I`ve lost yesterday 0.9 BTC in gambling, it pretty much sucks very much, but thats how it is.
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. I`m a disciplined gambler and I never bet huge amounts, and it was fun really.
Guess that makes you a long term loser again maybe tomorrow you'll be a long term winner good luck m8 No it's not, I`m at breakeven now, and i`m very disciplined in my gambling. I only do it for fun, i dont expect to get rich from it. But if I do then that will be nice. A passive atitude is very important. That is quite some attitude you got there and not thinking in getting rich because of gambling really is the best way to handle emotional dilutions that can go to addiction. |

I do believe that long term gambling makes you more mature and gets experience how to play, first i was loosing in bustabit.com site but after so many months i new the strategy of winning and now i have covered all my loss and made a decent profit, like this i have even seen some players loosing above 20+ btc but after long playing they are now 10+ btc in their account this is what we tell long term gambling makes you mature to play and you can win if you play properly. |

I think gamblers sets aside their emotions when they are gambling, If we are gambling we are risking, that means everything that we win or put in our balance would probably be busted in the long run, so we won't really profit from gambling..  |

It's very important to controll our emotions when gambling they can make us crazy in more ways than just greed. They make us think that we are the best in the world when we are upswinging a little. If we lose a little, some people just can't help but tell anyone who will listen about how incredibly unlucky they are. Some people have convince themselves they can win with a betting system like martingale in a game where the house edge stays the same , no matter the size of the bet. Thats just the Human brain. When it doesn't understand something, instead of realizing that it doesn't understand, it just makes up a story. Usually a story about a reason to do something it know it likes. (Like gambling or living forever and being happy in an amazing world in the sky) Only takes a few times before the story is real. Casinos aren't the only result of this type of thinking:  |

I think gamblers sets aside their emotions when they are gambling, If we are gambling we are risking, that means everything that we win or put in our balance would probably be busted in the long run, so we won't really profit from gambling.. That is correct. As per me also no one can make profits from gambling over the long term. In the long term one will become expert in online games but they will not make more profits from these games for sure. These games are meant for fun and we are using it in wrong way to make profits, that's why it is so hard to make profits in the long run. |

I won 1.9 btc the other day and with -0.6 profit before I'm now at 1.3 btc profit, so yeah gambling can be profitable however at this point my best ''bet'' is to stop gambling and just take the profits, most people don't do that and they end up loosing all their profit.

i agree. the best option is always to first gamble what you can afford to lose and in case you got lucky (like you) and won a nice amount and gained a profit, you have to stop and take your winnings or at least take a part of it and play with another part. |

Its possible of course but it mostly not will happen at the most people on a long term.
The most people will lose a lot on a long term so you need pure luck to have it.
Because gambling is not meant for making money so in the long run no one can make money. But most of the people thinks that, they can make lot of easy and fast money from gambling and end up losing all there money in gambling. So just gamble for fun and enjoy the fun part of gambling. yeah, there are gamblers who thinks exactly like that, they always think that there is profit in gambling in the long run, but even if they win, they never realize how much time and money have been lost in the process before they win a hit.... |

Yes gambling can be profitable in the long run. It is a mathematical possibility. I`m not a gambling shill, but i`m very frustrated when people put out misleading information. The truth is important. It is only "long" run when you lose it lol. Mathematics guarantees that when you bet on infinitely, a time comes when you lose your bankroll. You cannot win in the long run, because if you win, you are to play again.... till you lose. -Gambling can be profitable in the long term for the gambler
-Gambling cannot be profitable in the long term for the gambler
-Gambling can be profitable in the long term for the house
-The house can go bankrupt
All of these 4 scenarios could happen. They are not impossible. It all depends on luck.
2, 3 and 4 are correct. 1 is a wrong statement, and 2 contradicts 1 if you really meant 'cannot'. Well.. you even said so yourself: In infinity all gamblers would lose My long term is apparently much longer than your long term. |
