More and more people are giving up Paypal everyday. Someday we'll just get rid of the plague that is Paypal.

We will never get rid of paypal until we have a strnog Lightning Network deliving massive amoutns of transactions per second, until then, Bitcoin can't compete because Bitcoin is a currency and not a payment processor, so we will need to have LN working before we can start dreaming about conquering the world.

Not conquering the world. But getting rid of the monopoly that Paypal has. And because of that, it does whatever it wants.

I honestly prefer using bitcoin more than I like using paypal, bitcoin can be used for buying items at a discount and is better for accepting payments because there is no chargebacks.Only bad thing about bitcoin is the fact that the value can decrease over time, but then again it can also heavily increase over time as we have seen in the past couple months(bitcoin went from $220 to $440)

If a marketplace or shopping site accept both paypal and bitcoin, then I definitely choose bitcoin, because bitcoin is better then paypal, in transactions fee and security, but so sad there are few famous online marketplace only who accepts bitcoin.

Paypal will always try to screw you over. That's what they do.
because paypal added protection for sellers and buyers. so both of them will be safe

That is my main concern. When I pay, I use Paypal. When I receive, I will use bitcoin.

Many people are claiming disputes and are indeed scamming other people. Bitcoin does not allow that. Which is good.

Yes I'm doing the same thing and the other reason for me is that its easy, fast and very secure to pay with the bitcoin, I hate paypal and I think you can not even compare it to the bitcoin.

The paypal is for paying with a currency and the bitcoin is a real currency so.

I do not trust PayPal whatsoever and try to avoid using it as much as I can. Unfortunately, PayPal has a great marketshare in the e-commerce world. It's a shame Bitcoin has not been fully adopted yet and I think shopping online will become better as people learn more about the currency and what Blockchain is capable of.

Signatures? How about learning a skill... I don't care either way. Everybody has to make a living somehow.

It is somewhat an advantage for those who are really getting scammed themselves in real, but people are mostly taking disadvantage of this chargeback service, and seriously, Bitcoin is xxx times better in terms of this than PayPal...

Yes paypal is not trusting worth, also the security sucks, I also got hacked one time because of the paypal security that is pretty bad, I think the bitcoin is much better.

The bitcoin has a better future a head, its fast, secured good and also not traceable, I sometimes have the feeling paypal is looking up stuff..

Once bitcoin gets more popular, hardly any one would choose Paypal, as bitcoin allows us ease of transactions, and it is fast and with minimum transaction costs.

It is my first time that I see someone who says that PayPal is not trustworthy ! it is the most famous online payment process and it is acceptable around the famous shopping sites with no problems. So I do not think that they are untrustworthy. my problem with them is their high transaction fees and they may close your account for no understandable reason

Yes things would change in future when people are more aware about bitcoins they would prefer using bitcoins over Paypal for sure as it is easy and very convenient.
