Paypal fees to some countries are unreal, i remember i were exchanging or selling something with other person and he told me that he pays around 10% as fee from any ammount he trade or moove,for those countries users paypal is dead and bitcoin has becamed the best way to they do those deals.

I don`t really like paypal. I only use it because i simply have to sometimes. I do recieve money in USD sometimes and my local currency is different. In my country, Paypal claims to provide "free service" and they don`t charge any commission, but the exchange rate is always %5 worse compare to bank rates. It really pisses me off. I understand they need to charge for their service but it should be done in honest way. I don`t like when someone is assuming that customers are idiot.
I am trying to priority bitcoin as my payment method if possible. For example, recently i needed to buy a new domain and hosting service and it didn`t take long to find a good service provider that accepts bitcoin. Before bitcoin, I would be looking for a paypal icon.

They are pretty much the same if you are making a purchase. If you are receiving payment from someone, Bitcoin is definitely faster. |

I do not think they are the same in online shopping at all, because the sites which accept btc are very few comparing with sites that accept Paypal. So sometimes you do not have the choice because bitcoin is not one of the options to pay for your purchases |

So sometimes you do not have the choice because bitcoin is not one of the options to pay for your purchases This is really big problem with bitcoin we have no too much sites like paypal but now in last few months its spreading very fast and positively so we can hope have some good numbers in near future |

PayPal has a better system for it. That's why ebay and other online shopping sites. more like the payment process with paypal |

PayPal is definitely better regarding the size of the field you can buy items from using PayPal, Bitcoin is cheaper and with less rates but only few sites accept it therefore less overall number available.

i use bitcoin and i like using it mainly to support bitcoin and make some shopping choices mainly to buy using bitcoin, otherwise using creditcards and not paypal.

with PayPal there is a wider range of selection since most of the online stores accept PayPal, Therefore very easy to use PayPal online, Bitcoin is very different since there is just a very small overall market.

I would go for the bitcoin because its better with their security, the bitcoin has a faster system and also the fact it cannot get limited.
One time I already experienced that my paypal account was hacked..

I believe that when your Paypal was hacked it was your problem and you can not blame them for it. in this case, bitcoin is the same, your wallet may get hacked if your PC has some viruses or malwares. But I completely agree with you that using btc is a complete freedom, there is no limitations or charge back like in PP |

Paypal is more widely available, although Bitcoin is my preferred payment method. paypal is better for online shopping then bitcoin, and bitcoin is excellent for storing it and gain profit when the price increase.. paypal is being used more then bitcoin in online markets and shops so paypal is good for shopping and bitcoing is good for other use like trading and storing. what you say doesn't make a lot sense. actually, (my non biased point of view) i find bitcoin to work equally as good as paypal when it comes to online shopping. paypal is definitely not better. only paypal is offering the buyer great support when it comes to charging back their money. it leaves the sellers with a loss as they most likely will never get the sold product back. with paypal there is always a chance that your balance gets freezed for no reason. it happened to a lot people before and will continue to happen. bitcoin is a great tool to be used as a currency, investment, store of wealth and so on. |

Centralized services are better at scaling Bitcoin has a hard time with even 2 transactions per second. While useful for certain applications, with its current form it'd never replace PayPal. |

I prefer always to use Bitcoin beacuse it's powerful features compared with Paypal, but sometimes unluckily we find ourselves forced to using Paypal because it's more supported online till now.

Paypal for buying things at a not accepting bitcoin website (*cough* ebay *cough*)
Otherwise , i use bitcoin, since the transaction money is much cheaper.

I use Paypal when i am forced to use it, when dealing with some sites not accepting Bitcoin as payment processor.
Otherwise i prefer always to use Bitcoin because it's a lot better than Paypal.

PayPal is more widely used because they are more used to live. so they are well-known earlier than bitcoin. so if bitcoin can be better known by merchants and many people, of course we will see start a lot of stores and merchants who accept payment with the bitcoin system |
