I dont know where to post this , did anyone else get their account frozen??  i just noticed this last night and of course i asked help desk for help..   im at tier 2 with then and not even a email to notify me that they frozen my account..  first cryptsy but at least cryptsy helped me get most of my funds and i just deposited at polonex  and of course a frozen account they would allows deposits .. its wrongs type of ways to handle a very important business..   please feel free to express your views on crypto exchanges..

Never had any problems with them even tho have stopped using both of them as keep hearing bad things happening to peoples accounts so I have decided to not use them as much as I use to and when I use I will only put coin in and trade and then take coin out to be on the safe side. In terms of been frozen in what way have you been frozen if locked out speak to support should able resolve it. If its banned and suspended then again it will have to be support who unlock it.

this is once happen to me,its happen if you generate too many address on same time,or too many generte various address.
just contact poloniex and send a message about what happen to you,and they will explain how your account frozen.

Interesting I have never had my polo frozen and the account seems to be working for me at present. That said it might not hurt to send a support ticket over there to clarify why they froze your account, my trades are still working fine here.
(Only thing that might occur is you passed your daily limit and can't withdraw till 24 hours pass)
Edit: Didn't know that could happen thanks Realphotoshopper I'll be careful myself with generating to many new addresses.

Edit: Didn't know that could happen thanks Realphotoshopper I'll be careful myself with generating to many new addresses.

Address generation has been disabled on Poloniex. It has been this way for about a week and a half.
They disabled the ability to change deposit addresses since they claim users are now abusing it. Which is bizarre.
The most likely reasoning for disabling this feature is to conform to government regulations such as KYC and etc.

So, the OPs frozen account, may not be related to address generation, if it was frozen within the past few days.

i have done that and being patient...  my concern is would it be more professional to receive an email at least to say that my account got frozen due to.......    and instead to find out after you deposited from mining and try to withdraw the after converting to btc!! the only email i just get is from help desk got my ticket and still no warning why my account get closed?  for Bitcoin , it still not like banking and im getting worried about BTC popularity which exchanged are hurting bitcoins image,,

How do you know your "account is frozen"?
Can you be more specific as to what your problem is?

If you received coins from mining pool into Polo, then sold them for BTC, then you would need to withdraw them.
There is a limit on your withdrawal amount depending on your verified information. Unverified is 2000 USD per Day.
Are you attempting to withdrawal more than 6 BTC in a single day?

ive been learning to mine all types of coins for a year so I know how to make deposit and withdrawals. here is a copy of my account info and when i click on withdraw BTC it say This account is frozen.

but my point is, that i should of gotten a email first about account got frozen for what ever reason and i got to wait 24 hours to find out??  does your paycheck from work ever made you wait 24hours to clear?? maybe back in 1960's and they even still postage mail why .. before you ask..

and it started last night with my withdraw issues at polonex and i work for a living, i get home and im tired .. still same issue and no email say my account got frozen due to....??  so i got help desk and i got to wait 24 hours..  this is hurting miners like me and maybe others

Well, looks like it is indeed frozen then.
It could be related to the info your provided to get the 7000 USD withdrawal limit.
There may have been a problem and they froze pending some clarification.

But yes, Poloniex should have emailed you to notify that they had frozen your account.

Their support is usually good, so I'm sure if it isn't a serious issue, it will be addressed soon.

Did you ask for clarification in the troll box? Sometimes a Mod can check stuff, but not fix it.

my info???  im an average joe from Usa and im on the white pages...  who pay their taxes and work for a living ..  i will still be on my land that i own for the for the last next 30 years and watch polonex fold over and they will do time for ripping off consumers if they keep on doing what they are doing..

Please come back to this thread and let us know what was the reason for your account being frozen was, after being answered.
I'm sure other Poloniex users would be interested, especially if it is something strange and other users should be careful.

Used polo and cryptsy in the past, and honestly both their support service sucks. On polo, I asked why is my deposit not appearing on my btc account (it's been 12 hours and the tx was confirmed 40+ times then) and they replied 3 days later. After I got my funds out, I never returned on using their service. Cryptsy on the other hand, is buggy imo but at least their supports reply typically after few hours.

ok, i understand blocks also can be invalid and wont be rewarded but different mining pools plays and have different payout system.. so are interesting then others but block propagation due to having blocks notification goes into mining only...  so i mined altcoin and an exchange can convert to btc..  from merged mining, maybe... that was deep

i lost you on that  txaiqingmima, but very good article..  i just think that some exchanged are being audit by the feds and home mining could be axed out soon..   maybe due to taxes reporting
