am I missing something? I see that some people have sent the microtransaction and talk about passphrases, but collect.iotatoken.com is not live yet and the OP doesn't contain other info. Do I just wait for january when the website and client are up?

Either do hard refresh in browser when you open http://collect.iotatoken.com

Or just open that same link in Privacy Mode in browser.

I found the page was reflecting same http://iotatoken.com content, and when hard refreshed (CTRL+F5), it showed the latest updated page.

Gracias, it was working for me. I'm not much into cryptos, for me this was the first crowdsale.
But it was easy if you just follow the 5 steps. Good work from the team here!
Looking forward to January!

People, if you have doubts I strongly suggest to create a secure passphrase by rolling dice with the Diceware word list, untill you fill up the max 81 characters. Also double check step 4 that you always generate the same address and didn't make digit errors  Cool

I have a problem, i send the money from my kraken.com wallet back then and the min. withdrawal amount is higher than the amount i have to send to verify my account. Can i send the amount +0.001?

You can but I doubt they will go from the same address. Contact Kraken support.

How can we check the balance of IOTA if the distribution is done?

Distribution is not done yet, later balance will be visible in the front-end software.

Leaving the seed field empty and simply clicking ok also seems to generate that address. I also noticed that appending 9 at the end of a string generates the same address as the string itself.

isn't that kind of clear, if its considered as a zero/null value? if you prepend it, its not the same, but if you append it is

Iotatoken, is there a chance that we could get a google docs spreadsheet of accounts, amount in BTC contributed, amout contributed weighted by early-bird bonuses and what the expected IOTA payout will be.

I know I'll see what my payout will be when it arrives, but it would nice to see the schedule for all accounts so that the community has time to validate and ask questions before dispersements are made.

The list is not ready yet because confirming amounts will be added to purchase amounts, for some participants this will increase number of iotas significantly.

I wanted to get a rough Idea of what my share is so i made this:

http://en.file-upload.net/download-11146679/iota_table.ods.html

by no means accurate, dosnt include confirmation amounts and some accounts appear multiple times because the sent multiple times( maybe even in different phases).

It should be accurate enough to give you an idea of general distribution and roughly how big your share is.

Dont take this for real, whatever the IOTA team says is true.

If the distribution percentage is not done, how can you calculate correct claim amount?

It will be done after the claiming process ends.

FYI, when I finally posted my address, I saw it appear twice, sandwiched in between a pair of 99999 addresses.  I think there is something on the site where if the page refreshes, or something, your address get's double-posted.  I don't recall refreshing the page, but I might have.  Still, I found it odd that my payment address and amount appeared between an all-9's and I don't even recall loading the page twice.

Could be a small bug on you guys end, when posting addresses.

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011:
"I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00.  Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/"  ...sigh.  If only I knew.
