Yes. You can safely consider bitcoin as the new money of the future. Most likely in the near future, digital currencies will replace Fiat. And this is good, because anonymity, speed, small transaction prices, smart contracts, prospects have a place to be in our lives.

Yes i considered bitcoin as a money.
They only deffer for me in one aspect.
Money can be use to buy anything while bitcoin has a limit for now, I mean when you buy something
from the grocery store you cannot use bitcoin. You will need to covert it first to your local currency.

Yes Bitcoin is money, virtual money. More and more businesses are accepting it too Cheesy

I think bitcoin is can be as money as well as asset which cannot be done by any other.

1.Bitcoin as money,if someone want to buy anything or want to pay to someone we can transfer our bitcoin from our wallet to their because many countries started to accept bitcoins,if is illegal in your country you can exchange bitcoin into your country money then you can spend it.

2.Bitcoin as asset, bitcoin can also be used as like stock or gold.Bitcoin is a good investment if your investment is long term then which gives it good profit. The profit percentage is high in bitcoins.

there are large number of currencies in the world and all that currencies are money. just like that bitcoin is also a crypto currency and you can use it for every work because you can convert it to your desire currency and then you can buy everything which you want.
Bitcoin has a value so sure it's money, I would work hard to earn bitcoin than cash because I believe it has more value that the cash we will received.
With the limited supply and not controlled by the government I can expect more progress and will also reflect in the price, I will just consider this as my investment.

I really agree with you, bitcoin will be a long-term investment for the holder for his needs on the other day, and will benefit the holder itself.

What ever function as a legal tender in a country is its currency or say money , if a paper printed note whose legal tender is finished is no more currency .  Similarity Bitcoin is digital currency or money difference is only it is not printed piece of paper but  uses decentralised technology for secure payments.

According to economists, bitcoin may be more like a new product, or an investment, or a stock.
I do agree with that, and I think bitcoin is more like a special kind of futures stock.

I feel right now bitcoins are far more of an asset then income. To me it isn't going to matter what type my paying energy is in wiether it's in gold bitcoins or sticks. I'm just worried for the price and how considerably it will enhance so I use Bitcoin as I think it has the very best price then any other type of asset.

Yes and that's why is called cryptocurrency. It offers more cash than what you get in dollars. No doubt that is at the top of all the currencies in the world right now and it just replace US dollars. To me, it's so precious that Ican treat btc more than just a money.
It's the best crypto currency but it won't replace dollar, they are not in competition because we need fiat to own bitcoin and we need to convert
bitcoin to fiat to spend our money in this world. Let's be more realistic here, bitcoin looks good but it has a limitation.

yeah ,  i totally agree with this. i dont think bitcoin could replace the dollar or the fiat money even if bitcoins values is high enough its because bitcoin is restricted or banned in most countries including russia , china , india and some of the largest part in asia thats why its imposible for bitcoin to be used or replace the fiat money because there were more conflicts and debates that is not yet resolve to it.

I maintain that per these definitions, Bitcoin cannot possibly be described as "money". And further, I think that those who do describe Bitcoin as "money" are doing this community a disservice.

+1 agreed.  It's a commodity, a digital store of value.

So-called cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin have two main features in common. The first is that they are not issued or regulated by any central bank or single regulatory authority. They are created in accordance with certain computer algorithms and are issued and transferred through a distributed processing network using open source code.

Any particular computer server hosting a cryptocurrency ledger or register could be destroyed, but the existence of the currency would continue to reside on other servers all over the world and could quickly be replicated. It is impossible to destroy a cryptocurrency by attacking any single node or group of nodes.

The second feature in common is encryption, which gives rise to the “crypto” part of the name. It is possible to observe transactions taking place in the so-called block chain, which is a master register of all currency units and transactions.

Yes bitcoin is money and more valuable currency in the crypto world. If we look at the modern era we will come to know that bitcoin is the most important valuable and attractive currency. Now a day’s people are doing businesses with bitcoin and they become very rational to it. As time passes its value is growing without any hurdle it has a good value for its bright future.

I haven't any doubt that Bitcoin is really money. We can use Bitcoin to buy and sell online and it is already supported by many marketplaces and even legalized in some countries.
I even think that it is better than the fiat currencies in many ways.

I agree that bitcoin is digital money because we use bitcoin to buy the things we need and we really want and sometimes some people use bitcoin to pay their bills in their homes. I usually use bitcoin to buy in my online game. Cool

A currency which had become an investment.
Seriously? Because of the small number of bitcoin that will be around it will become so valuable and we will be fighting to get our hands on one of it.
Actually it is happening now. It grew to a price which is unthinkable and will grow more as time flows by.
We might not be feeling it as a currency now but I am still looking forward for that day to come.

I believe that the statement: "bitcoin is new kind of money" passes the duck test.

Bitcoins function as money (they're a unit of account, a medium of exchange, and a store of value), and if PayPal started allowing Bitcoin transactions tomorrow I'm certain they'd treat them as Just Another Currency.

If you like, call it a commodity, but I think all you'll accomplish is confusing potential users who might think they'll end up getting pork-bellies delivered to their porch if they don't get rid of their bitcoins.

I totally agree with you because if you can pay for literally anything with btc that means that btc is kinda money

Yes, So do I. You can use Bitcoin to buy and sell goods that means Bitcoin has value, Bitcoin can transfer with normal money through exchange rate. If Bitcoin could not be called money, what will it be called, huh?  Cheesy
