Any updates on the game testing? Or development in general?

Look page 9/10

Hey windjc,
always delighted to hear you,
since you did not follow us in last period i will try to give answer on your questions and give some summary of our work.

-Any updates on the game testing?
Like you probably know we made Turbocharged game as a showcase like prove of concept, now we made new stage called Tokyo GrandPrix
and we have a prizes for best 3 players.50 attempts are free, after that player can buy more attempts with GMC or simply share his results on Social Media,Facebook or Twitter. We started GP but still have few bugs.so it will be relaunched and date will be publish soon.Game developer CuriousCat works on it.
New Years holidays, our christmas and tomorrow is our New Year,so i must apologize that team didn't work but we got some rest and people recharged batteries.

Or development in general?
Our development going in right way and more details you can see on 1st page our OP(check ROADMAP)
or this link: https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fgamecredits.net%2Fgmc_art%2Froadmap_static2.jpg&t=560&c=G5GNBzAz6G2moA
In timing with roadmap we published that our new web wallet have 2FA security and email notification(when user got GMC in the wallet). So i hope this was helpful.

And main thing for past year is that GMC made a deal about integration in first real Game Company http://www.webelinx.com and their CEO gave interview for http://dcebrief.com/introducing-kids-to-cryptocurrency-through-gaming/ and full interview you have on our thread page 7-8.Here is link:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1266597.120
And yes,i forgot ROKOS : http://rokos.space   GMC is there!
Few companies joined our work and they will help us to create community outside of BCT, http://bizintelpro.com and to give us some boost in development http://www.bluelab.us

Big regards to you as a big GMC holder.

Nele

someone interested in a microsoft partnership ?

BAAS
newest services released by Azure is called “Blockchain as a
Service”. This will allow users to simply build cloud-computed
Blockchain applications. Prior to the partnership between Microsoft
and Coin, Azure had to first announce the partnership with
ConsenSys to develop the “Blockchain as a Service” developer

That is an excellent idea. I believe that once Gamecredits gets listed as a partner for Microsoft's Azure Blockchain as a Service Platform, it will become more interesting than what it is right now and attract the attention of other users as well. Since there is Microsoft Game Studios, maybe there could be new games developed in it with integrated GMC? Or perhaps we will be able to use GMC in the Xbox as well? All of this just makes me wonder what will really happen. Just my opinion.  Smiley

True Words and xbox gamer will love gmc.

I think neleonele can do it.

That is an interesting idea.

Looks like MS is not going to miss the crypto revolution like they missed the internet and mobile, so definitely worth a look in.

Yes,this is interesting for sure.We will try to make some contacts. Thanks for sharing this mamamae.Sent you pm.

Let the racing begins!

*Soon we'll introduce the 'time left' counter as well as the leaderboard page. We'll keep improving the game as time goes by but all your records will remain intact from now on. Keep in mind every player have 50 free attempts and can gain additional attempts via share/tweet button within the game, or buy 10 attempts for as little as 100 GMC.
Good luck and let the best win!

I want to try this, can I still play in the contest or is it too late?

Cryptsy FAILED

Perhaps a good idea to get Cryptsy out of the OP: http://blog.cryptsy.com/

Quote
About a year and a half ago, we were alerted in the early AM of a reduction in our safe/cold wallet balances of Bitcoin and Litecoin, as well as a couple other smaller cryptocurrencies.   After a period of time of investigation it was found that the developer of Lucky7Coin had placed an IRC backdoor into the code of wallet, which allowed it to act as a sort of a Trojan, or command and control unit.   This Trojan had likely been there for months before it was able to collect enough information to perform the attack.

These are the approximate figures taken:
Bitcoin:  13,000 BTC
Litecoin:  300,000 LTC
This of course was a critical event for Cryptsy, however at the time the website was earning more than it was spending and we still have some reserves of those cryptocurrencies on hand.   The decision was made to pull from our profits to fill these wallets back up over time, thus attempting to avert complete closure of the website at that time.   This worked fine for awhile, as profits decreased due to low volume and low Bitcoin prices, we would adjust our spending accordingly.  It wasn’t until an article from Coinfire came out that contained many false accusations that things began to crumble.   The article basically caused a bank-run, and since we only had so much in reserves for those currencies problems began.

Perhaps it is good to assess the damages in lost GMC as Cryptsy might choose to liquidate these at other exchanges.

Looking at coinmarketcap via the waybackmachine, it can be seen that Cryptsy was a very late entrant and only had significant volume of $187 in September: https://web.archive.org/web/20150906020436*/http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/gamecredits/

Are there Cryptsy addresses known that we can use to assess the damage?

Highly likely most people did not send coins there. On the busiest trading day it only had 45k of volume and that was before the warning signs:

It is quite disappointing to see another exchange go down in the crypto scene. People who have invested into crypto currencies and didn't get the chance to withdraw their balances, are most likely affected. After there were several issues regarding BTC withdrawals from Cryptsy, I knew that this was going towards the same path as Mt. Gox exchange.

Luckily, I was able to get my GMC out of Cryptsy before all of this happened. If not, I would have lost plenty of money there.  Smiley

Sorry I haven't been real active lately, ladies and gentlemen. Life has a tendency to come at me faster than I can handle.

Anyway, there's a problem with the Mongo database on our explorer. I'll have it fixed today, but depending on what the problem is, it might be out of synch for as much as 48 hours. Meantime, if you go to the pool, it has the correct block height, though you can't do blockchain forensics with it.
