Am I missing something or you guys still don't have a light wallet? Do you honestly expect every gamer to download a 20GB blockchain to gain access to your game store?
Forgive me if I am missing a piece of the puzzle. I don't really trust web wallets, so that is not an option for me.
Gamers can store GAME right in their store profiles. Likely 90% of gamers will have no idea GAME is a cryptocurrency. We have designed it so they don't have to. This store profile is still a web wallet right? You will be keeping the coins online in some account hosted by a remote server isn't it? It's like keeping some money in your Google Wallet. Correct me if I am wrong. This is only good for folks that want to buy tokens with fiat and use them immediately to purchase something and maintain a small balance to fund further purchases. There is a chance of getting hacked. What about those of us who wants to keep a large balance of tokens in hand? I think it's much more secure to have a desktop wallet store these coins for later use. A light wallet connecting to remote node would bring down the entry barrier for security conscious folks.

I was hoping you guys could introduce a light wallet which could be pointed to a remote node. It took me over a day to finally get the desktop wallet up and running with all the syncing going on. I don't know how many people will take the headache and I don't even have much space on my SSD left.

Our chain (uncompressed) is 1.4GB and up to date bootstrap is only 880MB. Edit: My fully synced wallet:

On other note, lightweight wallet is on our to-do list but not high on a priority list since there are desktop client for crypto people and super secure Web Wallet for gamers. Also Android wallet is around the corner. I'd have to check with dev team about iOS wallet though.

Found this link on Google: https://github.com/gamecredits-project/GameCredits/blob/master/doc/bootstrap.mdThis page belongs to you guys right? The torrent link provided here downloads a 20GB bootstrap file but once GameCredits wallet finishes syncing, the chain only takes up 1.4GB space. Ah well, doesn't matter now as the setup is done & I have received the coins. Wish the process had a little more clarity though. You guys are doing a great job with the project. Keep up the good work. As a gaming enthusiast myself, this is all very exciting to me.

Not that Im complaining about this opportunity to buy some relatively cheap Gamecredits, but why the big price decline? Especially when it should be going up up up since getting $53 million to promote Game?
There's a massive sell wall on Polo holding the price down. Won't see much movement till it disappears or there's a major announcement to build some momentum...perhaps after Friday's live stream.

That's true. and Always! every time the price starts to run up someone is trying to pull it down. Smelled like an inside job imo.

That wall consisted of a couple hundred thousand GAME. There are dozens of people with that much at this point. A couple months ago 900k GAME worth 120 BTC was a wall. Now you can do the same with less than 100k.

Yeah thats really just how trading is nowadays. You got to play off the walls when trading. If you arent day trading all should be well then. Buy...hold...done.

GameCredits, a real company, real product, real use-case coin, everything looks, feels and smells promising but $3.85 atm. Just don't get it?
