Could someone from the GameCredits team tell us what their plans are for the next weeks and months? Maybe a kind of list divided into marketing projects, which trade fairs you're going to attend etc.?
That would be nice.

Sure.

Over the next couple weeks we want to release more payment options in our mobile and web wallet. This is where gamers will be purchasing GAME for in-game purchases inside our mobilestore. We currently have Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Dicovery Card, and American Express up and running. Indian payment methods for our first go to market are being updated and worked on until release any day now. With these released we start marketing to the Indian community a lot heavier. This means facebook ads, gaming news articles, youtube ads, sponsored tournaments, etc, to try and get people to start using our platform. At the same time we're readying our esports environment. The first step to this was releasing the mobile MMORPG Pixel Wars. Pixel Wars is a very in depth MMORPG kind of like the mobile version of world of war craft. Thousands of different items, complex leveling systems, guild wars, and PVP fights of up to 100 people (fights on this level haven't been brought to a mobile setting before). We can start hosting tournaments and giveaways from the game to engage our audiences, and get them to use GameCredits to purchase in-game items. While all this is going on we'll continue partnering and getting more gaming companies on board. Our team is literally traveling all around the world to get this done. Sergey flew from Dubai, to Mumbai, to Los Angeles in a matter of like 72 hours with meetings with gaming industry members the whole time. We want to grow our media as well which is why we will be releasing weekly development reports from members of our main office in Belgrade. Videos will come out on both our GNation website and GameCredits website alongside blog posts and vlogs.

We will attend a variety of cryptocurrency events. Sergey is going to the Token Summit in Shanghai September 17th, and we're hosting a blockchain event and presentation August 25th in Belgrade to bring on more developers and professional contacts. Gaming conferences are also on the agenda. We're still deciding on which ones to push to go to. Personally I'm trying to figure out how to go to a couple across the United States myself. You can expect to hear more regarding those in the future.

After playing Pixel Wars for a few days now, I have to say I'm very excited to see the climate around the game once more players are involved and tournaments take place. I couldn't be any more bullish on GAME and MGO if I tried.

This is the time to load up on GAME. Opportunities like this don't come knocking everyday.

GAME was recently added to Jubi and Yuanbao (just couple of days ago). Guys, it's better to load up the train while you can afford it.

Rogerdale I'll just ask you wait until we release the application. We'll be explaining all of that then. It's really not too far away I promise Smiley
It was Kamalsharma100 who asked the question, not Rogerdale

I asked another question (about new wallet) so that was the answer to it.

Ok.  Sorry

Desktop wallets are always more secure because you control the private keys.  In online wallets, they have the private keys of yours.  But if you use desktop wallets, you must make some backups (and make sure it is you only who will handle the backups, not others).  Also, save private keys associated with each addresses if you can.  This way, this can help you restore your wallet with those private keys in case your wallet backup file gets corrupted.

Another my suggestion to GameCredits is to change the mining algorithm to something GPU mineable. The idea is that gamers will then be able to use their gaming PCs to mine GameCredits coins in this case and spend these coins in G-Store.

Currently gamers need to deal with exchanges which may discourage people a bit. If you can advertise that people can get some coins just by spending their unused computing power - that may be very good.

Also it will protect the network, because currently any relatively large LTC mining pool can conduct a 51% attack on GameCredits.
Something in development is actually a downloadable wallet with a built in miner specifically for this purpose. You'll hear more on it in the future.

I think this is a revolutionary idea to attract a lot more people into G-Nation community.

But in this case the algorithm should be changed, people cannot mine asic algo on GPUs. What will be the new algorythm?
Rogerdale why do you think algo should change? It's Gamers' coin and it's totally GPU mineable as it is.

Rogerdale why do you think algo should change? It's Gamers' coin and it's totally GPU mineable as it is.

It uses Scrypt algo. Mining it on GPU is not efficient because there are powerful ASICs from Bitmain (L3+).

Anyway I really believe that developers indeed have some plans to make GameCredits an asic-resistant coin and integrate a miner into a wallet. That would be a huge advantage to promote GameCredits. It will allow people to earn coins by mining and spend them in games straight away (that will indeed attract people, especially children who are too young to earn fiat money or if they have some pocket money their transactions are still monitored by parents). And of course game developers will also be interested in growing their client base and will include GameCredits as a payment option to increase game monetization. That will also be a good answer to a question "why you are not using Bitcoin" - because gamers obviously cannot mine Bitcoin on their PCs.

What we have currently is that GameCredits are mined by the same professional mining pools that mine Litecoin and these mining pools just send their coins to exchanges and dump them at the market price.

Better yet I hope GameCredits considers switching to POS. POW is a dying consensus algo and everywhere you look projects are migrating to POS en masse. That way instead of wasting electricity mining GAME, gamers can actually concentrate on gaming. People can simply buy a large amount of GAME and keep the wallet running in the background to earn extra coins.

good idea 💡, I support, hopefully, the development team will look into this, though am not a miner but I believe this will go a long way in making game credit more user friendly if I should put it that way

Some whale got cheap coins. Grin

You don't seem to understand how the market works. Recently there was an ICO of 0xProtocol, where ICO price was about $0.04 and today price jumped to $0.22. It is more than x5 in a couple of days. Of course, people are not going to hold old altcoins under these circumstances, where you can get such easy money. GameCredits have great potential, but the market is too volatile, there are opportunities to get easy x2-x5 every week (if you are lucky to get cheap coins on ICO), it is hard for old and solid altcoins to compete.

If you didn't take (and not going to take) any of those "easy money" opportunities, there is no point in selling GameCredits.
