After reading about the exchange feature, I tried it to make sure. I exchange 0.06 ETH into BTC and it works as expected. Idk with the other coins btw. You can try it to make sure!

You can deposit with the available altcoins accepted by bitsler; as I dont see a requirement that the deposit should be in bitcoin only. It is clearly stated that the prize of the lottery also available in altcoin. So you can use dogecoin to avoid high transaction fee.

You are right you can use other cryptos but I think complexMachines9 knows that already and unfortunately he doesn't have any Altcoins to use for depositing. And I also agree with him Bitcoin network fees/ transactions fees are killing Bitcoin as a mode of payment as the prices of it are extremely high that I wouldn't even consider it as some kind of currency to be use frequently. I really hope that the lightning network will do its thing us we need the networks feeds to decrease and be a lot cheaper.

No, I bet this promotion isn't in list of promotions which not only promise bonus but in reality they are 100% against you, their promotion 100% makes you to lose. Maybe there is written details on bitsler's forum but I haven't checked it. Despite that fact, I think this promotion will be like it was in past, random depositers will get 100% bonus without any wagering requirement.

The problem with the lightning network is that its still in developement and who knows for how much longer.

Even if it goes live, how many exchanges will enable their wallets on the lightning network? Probably 1 or 2.

The proof is how there is barely any exchanges that support Segwit. If the main exchanges such as Coinbase, Bitfinex, Bittrex, Poloniex already started sending and receiving in Segwit the conjestions would be much lower than today.

But the average fee for a block is almost $200,000 and it was $20K about 2 weeks ago. This is getting out of hand.
