IMHO, players who lose their balances when a casino closes is one of the worst things that can happen. For players because they lost their money but also for the whole industry. In terms of reputation, it's bad for all other crypto-casinos. In people's minds playing on such casinos becomes unsafe.
I'm not saying that I'm doing charity here but as I explained before, it's also a way for me to promote Bitsler and to get potential new players. I want to show them and the others that you can gamble safely with cryptos and that this industry is not just full of sharks and scammers. It's my way to support the players, this community and this industry. I don't see how it could hurt anybody except myself as I 'm the only one who is spending money in this regard.
I understand that some of you have personal/financial issues with Dean but I don't think that this is the appropriate thread to be discussing that.
Sometimes I try to put myself in a newbies shoes that's new to crypto and whatever thread he'll try to read - he will see people screaming about scam stories which could most likely push him back to FIAT. It was almost impossible to make a crypto-casino without this forum and the communities support when I launched Bitsler almost 5 years ago. It was probably the most important voice in the industry and a very important one for all the crypto investors. I miss that time when we had a strong guardian and a good ambassador but unfortunately, I feel like it's not the case anymore. For now, there is no new entity that has enough impact and reputation to shed a clear enough light on what is clean and safe/unsafe for the players who want to gamble cryptos.  
I know that Primedice was trying to build something like that with its foundation (they contacted us to join it) but at this point, even if I believe that's a good thing to do, it doesn't fill all the requirements and the guarantees of fairness that I'm waiting for (I know it takes time to build something like that and to make everybody agree on the same project).
About investors, they are not concerned with this refunding plan and IMHO, it's a completely different debate that has nothing to do with us.

On a side note, I noticed that bitsler added "blast" which is using the bustabit code (for posterity) but was unable to find a link to the modified source code (like the AGPLv3 would require) and didn't see it using a paid license (like would be specified in https://bustabit.com/license.txt ). What's the backstory there?

I was wondering why Bitsler have taken this decisions when I have been reading Betking refund thread. Then the point you have mentioned above came into my mind and wondered to read this thread. But whatever reason behind it I would like to appreciate for this important decision. Because rather than find reason behind of refund most important thing is recover fund who had lost during close Betking. At least gamblers getting their lost fund even on other platform. On the other hand I believe depreciated gambler just moving on a safe place to gamble safely in future.

I trust Baryom and I understand what he is trying to do.  I do not trust that Baryom can tell Dean's socks from real accounts and such, but that's is really none of my business how Baryom wants to spend his money.  

It isn't bad enough for FreeBitcoins.com to stop our Bitsler faucet and we hope the promotion works out for everyone... Hell, a fair few of our friends had balances stolen by Dean.  I will be letting them know about it... just hope they don't click through Deans Bitsler affiliate link. How can anybody believe anything the serial scammer Dean Nolan says? Where is the proof there were ever 250 players on betking that had any balance when he stole the bankroll and closed the website down? Having said that, why is Bitsler getting in to a collaboration with betking when they are dealing with the person that stole from ICO investors, bankroll investors, Christmas wager winners and others before clsoing the website down?

What is in this for Bitsler... they are paying up to a maximum of $18,000 in the hope of getting back a lot more from new sign-ups but they have damaged their brand by associating with betking.

Of those alleged 250 users that had balance on their accounts how many will be alt-accounts designed to get $200 free gaming money from Bitsler?

Serial scammer Dean Nolan believes he will be able to avoid any form of future litigation by showing these posts as his efforts to help repay users or investors but it will not. Sooner or later it will be jail time for him.

The only thing I am sure about is betking would probably check the names of people who signed up and IP addresses and so forth to make sure that whoever they are giving money are the people who are actually people who were at betking when it was scammed. That is of course thinking Dean would do the right thing for the first time ever, you know what is the bigger possibility?

Is there anything else besides helping former gamblers at Betking and persuading them to come to Bitsler to play? That scammer is known and why would you help him clean his name? Any move can be viewed on the negative side, it’s just speculation. I guess, Baryom and Bitsler have a method of how to check all players before a refund, they should not be considered ignorant.

I'm still quite surprised by such a large resistance to this plan for Betking players. Crypto community always was helpful and generous, why not in this case as well. I know that feeling when someone unknown help you even if you are fooled by the third side.

There would no manner in which Bitsler could 100% be sure of who any alleged players were that had any balance in betking when serial scammer Dean Nolan stole the bankroll and used it for his exit scam blaming it on a non-existent hack. There is no public record, the only way for users signing up at Bitsler and claiming $200 is via the affiliate link and only after serial scammer Dean Nolan confirms to Bitsler that the particular user was allegedly an ex-betking user that had some balance on his account went betking was closed down after serial scammer Dean Nolan stole the bankroll.

In essence what this means is that as long as serial scammer Dean Nolan gives the go-ahead, Bitsler will deposit $200 in to the accounts of up to 250 newly signed up users without ever knowing whether these accounts were even ever real or not. Shocking.

It is so funny that Dean sometimes comes up, and not even with their own account or anything, comes out with the betking account and they basically finds one wrong person about one thing and talks about that when there has been thousands of messages about them being a scammer and can't say anything about that.

Can they disprove anything about them being "hacked" and basically not paying hundreds of people their money back? No they can't. Can they talk about the millions of dollars that was stolen as funding to them on the ICO? No they can't. What can they do? Come here and talk about how this bitsler deal comes out of their own pockets if they do it properly that is.
