Hopefully in 20 years Bitcoins will be worth enough that we can easily give small amounts away to friends and family to help educate them about it. That's what I would like to do.

I think after 20 years the digital world would have shifted to the bitcoin, and everyone will prefer bitcoin for their transactions, the btcoin will have achieved a good stability and the fluctuation will be much lower and will act the same as the dollar, and it will have reached to about $1000 or $2000

Either that or it will be completely gone like pet rocks, a flash in the pan fad that fades into history.

In 20 years, what I will do with the bitcoin is no different from now. I will still mine for bitcoin and use that.
Mining will be least profitable after 20 years. As the difficulty will increase too much, that the highly super computer wont be able to mine 1 BTC in one year. The cost of electricity and the cost of hardware will make mining no profit. Trading with Alt coins could be the best option tough. I am now saving some Bitcoins because I think that the value will be indeed higher later so I can sell it later with some good profit and that can be nice but it is hard to predict. Nobody will know what the value will be after some 20 years so you should to take some risks if you are selling it earlier.

Well that's the right thing to do after 20 years, to run a business..It's hard to work forever in a company with a horrible boss..After 20 years maybe you are in a retiring age that time and most probably your business plan would actually work because your focus is already there..

If bitcoin touch $100,000 after 20 years then I will sell them and will buy a house with about 10 bitcoins, and will show to people that I have bought a luxurious house with only 10 bitcoins.

What will I do when ...
Bitcoin hit $1,000,000: I do not think I will have one whole Bitcoin or more if Bitcoin reached 1 000 000 USD. Well ... I would have buy things online or invested it at business when Bitcoin grow to ... maybe 100 000 per coin. Bitcoin hit $1,000 again: I will hold onto my Bitcoin believing that Bitcoin will continue to grow. Bitcoin stayed where it was: Continue to support Bitcoin and wish that Bitcoin will hit 1000 mark soon. Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents: Umm ... If signature campaign is still available, I will still participate as the USD rate will be roughly the same. All of my Bitcoin come from my time online - mostly signature campaign. So there is not much of a lost if Bitcoin become worthless.
I think the second option look realistic as I do not think Bitcoin will ever reach the 10 000 mark. I'd also like to see Bitcoin price stop at just four digits.

Well said, continuously working for a boss is really a hard thing. At least to escape from that I want to collect more bitcoin and get engaged with a small business.

I thinks it's most probable that bitcoin will reach the $1,000 mark again, what would I do? that would all depend on how much bitcoin I manage to save in 20 years, I would probably sell some but not all as I would need to keep some for my retirement if I get that old.

I don't know what price we will have in 2017, and what halving will influence bitcoin economy to begin with. As far as I can tell harmful government regulations can detroy bitcoin even before it will reach full potential.

Yes that is an major issue that Government will never support bitcoin, and if Government starts supporting it bitcoin will become centralized currency which will result in loosing its users.

That's true..Better have your business than work with a horrible boss..Besides after 20 years if you already have a family you will start to think of getting more and more money for them.. so better save and run a business.. 20 Years is a way too ahead to think about. Maybe bitcoin by that time has given birth to some other great digital currency which is accepted in the whole universe and may in all the planets and the moon. It all depends where the technology stands by that time and i think bitcoin will be moving along with the technology and which FIAT cant.

if you have a $ 1,000 price expectations in the 20 years to come. it will allow you to have a target. how much money you need for retirement dude ? if you want to get $ 100k. Surely you must have 100 BTC only in 20 years.
