Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets?

you are right that people use many bitcoin wallet for the security reason there is many bitcoin user face to hacking problem then they using multiple wallet for their bitcoin and they divide their bitcoin and then keep it in multiple wallet.

If your main concern is security instead of different wallets I think the best possible solution will be a hardware wallet like trezor or ledger nano.

Using different type of wallet is good for our experience of using wallet. We can compare which of wallet is the best and simply to use. Trezor and ledger nano is good to. Not just secure but ts also give us good experience.

i think that people do not want to save all bitcoin in one wallet because there is hacking problem so people keep their bitcoin in many wallet and i think it is safest way to keep your bitcoin in many wallet .

of course by dividing your bitcoin wallet then to various risks losing all bitcoinmu you will certainly be smaller, at least I used 4 bitcoin wallets to secure me, yeah even though it was a bit complicated still this was not a problem for security

For me i used 3 bitcoin wallet to minimize the risk of my money or investment then the other wallet i use is to received the income came from signature campaign and sports betting then i have main bitcoin wallet that i do more transaction like sending and spending my bitcoin.

why people use many bitcoin wallet? good question. I think they use a lot of bitcoin because they wanted more security, so they are using bitcoin wallet is not just one

And other reasons people using many bitcoin wallet is for stay be anonymous and there are not people who can be tracking the transaction and the other reasons is because of services wallet BTC always changing wallets.

First thing is the ease of access that you can access through phone and your pc as well. But some of us have more than 2 wallets which are definitely used to minimize the risk of losing all the BTC when one of your wallet is compromised.

yeah plausible reason they do this is to minimize the risk of losing bitcoin for hackers. I do not find any reason other than that. would be more secure if you use authentication for all the purses you got. I only have 2 wallets, because I sometimes confused when having lots wallet

I think today there are many wallet that you can access using your cell phone, they use android and ios system, maybe you can see it in PlayStore

I do not feel convenient for accessing the bitcoin wallet through the phone or tablet, cause some features are hidden and I can't find that. it's fine just for saving your amount in more simple pouch another from the pc wallet.

Each wallet has it's own unique and speciality, and also it is safer to spread your coin in different wallet rather than put it all in one wallet, some people also used different wallet for security reasons, some of them used for managing their coins

its all about keeping the anonymity in bitcoin,if people use the same wallet with the same address over and over then someone that knows their address can see every transaction they do. its just not safe enough

You can stay away from web wallets or if there's no way you can access other wallet types then just don't store in just one web wallet like you said "never put all eggs in one basket".

But if your concern are hackers then having many wallets don’t offer much protection if all of them are on the same device, it will probably better to have the wallets in different devices and if possible on more secure OS like Linux.

I think its not more secured to use linux since linux is more manual programing command..
For hackers everything is possible but about the security of our device we can protect our devices from any viruses thats why we have anti virus here..

Good day to you friend! i would like to share my experience on why we use many bitcoin wallets i have experienced it i have many bitcoin wallet because of the different service in it others have incredible security and others have discount of it if you use their wallet then others have new updates in it with new transaction on it still others have join the other bitcoin wallet in the past and they want to change or have another wallet to have easy access like coins.ph to me its very easy to use it has bills and load i can't believe a wallet has that transaction then in other case they have different and other accounts to use different bitcoin wallets.

Yeah i doing it that i use multiple wallet to secured my main wallet and i use bitcoin mixer so that no one can trace my transaction..
sometimes i using other online wallet for fast transaction and there is no fee for every transaction.
