I don't think so any bank will accept bitcoins directly, government will never allow banks to do so. If the banks do so soon the bitcoin will prevail over fiat, and this will strongly affect the international market.

I doubt Government has direct control over banks. In every nation, there is a central bank which is an apex body and control and regulate banking system of the country. However, Government exercise significant control over central bank.
Now coming to 'Affect on International Market'. Again I doubt Bitcoin is any threat to International market. Rather, it is bane to International market since it encourages trade between different nations. Bitcoin has removed the bar of currency differentiation between different nations. But it can has drastic affects on domestic market of the countries. Bitcoin has mobilized the invisible trade over boundaries.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
There is know bank accepted bitcoin as of now because if they want the bank that accept bitcoin is need to approve by the government official. They are reason why it is happen. Because of the anonimity of the bitcoin is the reason why it isn't approved because some people used bitcoin for criminal transactions.

Actually, there are already banks taking this initiative. You'll see some examples in previous posts. I think that banks can not ignore Bitcoin's success for a long time, and those who will have competitive advantage are banks who plan first and develop the first projects related to the integration of Bitcoin to their platforms.

No. That is  not just it. There are many reasons for why they wont use bitcoin as a means of transaction or be absorbed by their financial trend. This banks want to create their own bitcoin. They want something that they can control. They want something that they could adjust anytime they want. They want it to be in their hands whenever they feel they want to change something. That is why they are not accepting bitcoin. In case you see banks which you can withdraw fiat with your bitcoin that is thru the wallet exchange, not the bank.

No, it's not like you are saying, at least where I live. I have bank account which also has bitcoin service and I can to pay electricity costs, internet costs and etc with bitcoins without problems and plus I can to pay on amazon with bitcoins, I meanwith  filling of visa card.
Bitcoin is good deal for banks because they are cutting big fees and still has many customer.

There is no such thing as banks that accept bitcoin as a form of payment.
I do not know whether banks in other countries accept bitcoin because each region is different. But the national bank in my country, stating that the crypto as other bitcoin is not legal payment tool, even those said to be careful when using it.
I feel that banks and bitcoin has a reciprocal nature. in the bank, the transaction whatever you do, would be very easy to know by the bank, however, in the world of bitcoin, nobody knows you're doing sending bitcoin. but, bank, and bitcoin also have much in common, but the bank has not received for the current bitcoin
I also do not think so that still any bank accept bitcoin, banks deal in fiat only currently and they also may not be accepting bitcoin because still not a single government accept bitcoin. but I think that when the state will consider bitcoin as legal currency then they will also start accepting bitcoin.

Central bank can be conditionally considered as part of the government

When people say about the government they don't refer to it in the narrow sense of the term (i.e. as just one part of the state machine). I guess they use it synonymously with the state or authorities in general. In this way, central bank can be as well though of as a monetary authority representing state in this field

Bitcoins don't need to be put on a bank. A Bitcoin wallet is a bank itself!

Definitely, no bank will accept Bitcoins

no still not. the bank had not seen potential in bitcoin or might think that bitcoin is a scam and illegal currency as it doesn't have any central agency to control the network and with such system it doesn't qualify for legit money and also government had not given green signal to legalize bitcoin so banks still don't accept bitcoin.

Yeah we do not need the bank for bitcoins. If bank accepts bitcoin or acquires it, then we can get the interest from the bank accordingly but major issue is they will put the tax on our head. I think better to be decentralized and independent.

Canada's Nova Scottia bank has started to accept bitcoin, at the same Canada have been into the digitalization and make their country the financial centre for fintech services. South Korean government is on plan of their own digital coin termed as BOSCoin. This confirms the use of bitcoin and digital currency in the coming years.

How will bank even accepts bitcoin or else Op will any other definition more than the traditional bank that I know of. But if we have physical bitcoins now, then I will see the effectiveness or reason for a bank in bitcoin but no thats not what we have. And now all wallets literally serve as a bank where one can keep its own bitcoin and so I dont see where banks come in and I dont know any where banks accept bitcoin...

I can't think of any bank accepting bitcon, Bitcon is their no1. competitor. Some banks even block your account if you are affilaited with bitcoin..
So be carefull. I for one never use bitcon in the message field when i make a transfer or buy some bitcoin related gear.

The banks do not accept bitcoin. The banks do not have bitcoine support.
I need to ask. Is there really such a need? Bitcoin has already come out so people can control their own money. It does not make sense for me to put banks together again.
Bitcoin users will not prefer this, even if something like that already happens.

I think there is no bank in the world that accept bitcoin, and very foolish to give others to control it if we can control it yourself.
