hi,

i just read that cryptoxchange was closing, havn't been following up the news , just read today only thou they already closed at november 19.

i have about 2.8k usd with them.

what should i do now? i never added a bank account with them at all

will i be able to get my money back?

thanks for advice!
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

If you are a customer with funds held by Kenseycol PTY LTD, you can immediately start to demand your funds back. It is important to produce evidence for further actions against Kenseycol PTY LTD. Any amount of money, including Bitcoin, can be reclaimed in accordance with your terms.

That is called "buying time". They are tricking the customers to believe the process of returning funds is complex and tiresome. It is a bluff. They could return the funds in less than a week, even if was necessary process every transaction manually.

Perhaps. Do you live in Australia? If so, you can serve a statutory demand. It is the best option available right now.

I would immediately send a letter and email demanding return of funds in 10 days.

Thinking about doing business with johnniewalkerhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=72227?

I also have sent them requests to finally verify my account, but I got no answer. It also seems that logging in is not possible anymore.
Is it promising to contact them via letter even if you don't live in Australia? I for example live in Germany.

I actually managed to get my account verified after it closed down, the process took 2.5 weeks and multiple emails but they eventually answered.
Immediately initiated a withdrawal right after, no sign of my money yet, it's only been 1 week since then.
