Is bitcoin better or paypal?

I think only a few advantages if compared to bitcoin. Well, maybe paypal, is very popular in the general public so they prefer to use paypal instead of bitcoin. But I think it's just a matter of time until paypal is replaced with bitcoin.

Bitcoin will not replace PayPal, but more overtake it in terms of transferred transaction value. If you think logically, Bitcoin needs to function equally as well -- preferably better than PayPal is doing in order to convince people to hop over. PayPal offers buyer protection, free and instant transactions most of the times, a global reach, etc. From there it's basically pointless to hope for Bitcoin to replace PayPal. I add more value to PayPal at some point incorporating Bitcoin.

I think this feature can only be used when there is involvement of goods and services. When you buying from service account or the front party is business or something like that then only you can claim as per my knowledge about PayPal. Otherwise everybody will start stealing money on P2P basis.

That's true. Payment can be undone which is not good. System of paypal is not friendly for evry user as scam may occured if a user isn't smart and doesn't know how evertything what is the regulation in Paypal. Unlike in bitcoin, you don't have to make it as problem. You just need to send and it won't get canceled. You also don't have to read many terms so that you can make transactions.

Both are a means of payment digitally, everyone is now familiar with bitcoin as a means of payment. Although paypal is still used but bitcoin is now more popular. I am more comfortable with bitcoin.  BTCBTC

Before maybe I will agree as transferring bitcoins are pretty instant and confirmation only takes minutes, bitcoin was way better compare to paypal. But with the slow confirmation today plus you need to pay for about $2 above per transfer, there is no different from the Paypal transactions. Transactions on Paypal only took minutes. My bank transfers especially my online banking is instant when I do transfers. In bitcoin transactions today, in some cases you need to wait for days. My last transaction costing $2 above transaction fees tooks 8-12 hours before it was confirmend.

If this will continue then I see that only the value of bitcoin is the advantage of it over people using Paypal, anyhow no sense of comparing in the first place since Paypal is not a currency.

For me yes, bitcoin is better than paypal. Bitcoin is easier to use and can be used for profit in trade. In online shopping, I mostly use bitcoin rather than paypal.

I think that my users will agree with me at all that Bitcoin works very well with PayPal and I do not see any problems in this. I myself now have questions in terms of using coins and real money in at the same time and for this I can join PayPal for today.

For small, casual transactions to fiat holders who aren't interested in anything else, PayPal will be better.  However, for larger transactions Bitcoin would be an ideal choice.

I'd like to think that Bitcoin would be good for small casual transactions since that's what satoshi implied in the whitepaper, but it hasn't reached a state in which that's really possible.

Bitcoin is not used so often to pay for purchases on the Internet as Paypal. In this, PayPal leads. And this is logical, because much less people know about bitcoin than about Fiat

Right now paypal is much more useful than bitcoin is. most online stores accept paypal but bitcoin is not as widely accepted like paypal. in the future that may change. also bitcoin has a very slow transaction speed and high transaction fees. its not very convenient to use bitcoins to buy stuff right now.
