Including source of income of government. Some countries are still on a third world country and most of the people there can't even afford to buy a mobile or pay a internet. Some people will get left behind if the government accept bitcoin.
of course if the government accepts and legalize bitcoin many people will join with bitcoin, you know bitcoin is decentralized so the government will not be able to earn a living from bitcoin, the government could not give tax on bitcoin users

Yes, got you intrigued, didn't it?
Bitcoin is a very good thing to have as an asset. Just like gold. Even better if I may say. It's secure, and unlike fiat money it actually exists and work is put into it to produce it. This makes it great to store value. However, it cannot and will not replace current fiat money that the entire world it using. It just cannot. Take paying a cup of coffee for example. To pay your coffee with bitcoins, one must get bitcoins first, either by mining or buying bitcoins with other kinds of money (*cough*fiat*cough). It ends up being a quite complicated process, don't you think? Until we reach the point where paying for a cup of coffee is as easy with Bitcoin as it is with cash, we will never get mass adoption. And as far as I see it, there is no way of simplifying the acquiring of bitcoins.
No it wont replace fiat because to have bitcoin you must exchange some fiat to have bitcoin, but most people in the future will use bitcoins as their daily spending in reality.

'Internet' is everywhere in modern world. When is the last time you went to a shop on a location without internet access? For me a cruise years ago was the last time. In the near future even airplanes will have internet access.

I think bitcoin can replace fiat but it will take lot of time to do so. Paper money system is well established for long time, bitcoin still have to be stable.
is it possible if bitcoin price going stable and replace fiat ? because you say bitcoin must be stabilized in order to replace the banknotes? but it takes a long time. i know Even if bitcoin have a stable price it will not replace fiat because fiat is the source of power in any government and with that they allow their money to be replace. I think there is no guarantee that bitcoin will replace fiat when their prices become stable. agree all things against the government and the country would lose incuding bitcoin fiat is behind the government of course they are very large force and power it will be difficult to achieve it

Most of the rural area youre talking about has very little population. Most of the countries in each major city for that country has internet, but I get your point.

I think access to internet is not an issue, major issue is people are not knowledgeable in rural areas and they simply resist change so its difficult to convince them to start using bitcoin. In my opinion, it seems that in the future both options still will coexist because each has a different purpose. Fiat has existed for centuries, Gold has existed for millenniums, and barter is even older, but no one of them has entirely replaced to its ancestor, so I think bitcoin is not obliged to substitute fiat in any moment.

And like we all know this, governments basically ruin everything jk. But the day we see actual fiat replaced, it would probably be just something else as the other nations to try take over as world currency then the dollar.

Very surely for future the bitcoin will replace fiat because many people or fiat user go change to bitcoin because bitcoin is easy to transact and have many features and benifits you can get. I see the future if fiat is slowly getting down.

It's normal...Most of the people who has work and can afford to use their credit card they will be using it..Bitcoin won't be a choice to them as it is complicated to use, probably bitcoin's technology could only be used thru bank to bank or interagency transactions, but not in actual or not on the purpose the fiat was made..
