Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

methinks here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=133487.msg1451329#msg1451329

Bitpay does not need to be registered, though:

Fortunately, payment processors such as BitPay are exempt. BitPay is legally classified as a payment processor, not a money transmitter. Gallippi points to 31 CFR § 1010.100(ff)(5)(ii)(A)–F, a set of FINCEN rules which clarify that “the term money transmitter does not include a person who only … (ii) Acts as a payment processor to facilitate the purchase of, or payment of a bill for, a good or service through a clearance and settlement system by agreement with the creditor or seller.” Becuase BitPay deals financially only with sellers, CEO Tony Gallippi explains, and not with customers, BitPay is in the clear.

However it is my humble opinion that when the BFL bubble bursts and Sonny heads off to prison Bitpay will indeed end up a loser in the equation.

FWIW, I don't think MtGox is using that algorithm -- at least, not any more.

If yandex accept BTC that can be HUGE

Webmoney is larger than yandex money

Yandex money hard-attached to only one currency - RUR. It cant operate with other currecies, while Webmoney operates with large number of currencies, now including Bitcoin.

I personally trust more on yandex also yandex is not just money transfer business so is harder to shut down

So this appears to be fiat backed crypto currencies pegged to both the USD (WMZ) and Euro (WME) that can be traded for Bitcoins.

This sounds like a really good idea so long as the companies backing them are trustworthy.

Webmoney has large number of currencies: WMZ (USD), WME (EUR), WMR (RUR), WMU (UAH) and even WMG (Gold).

All they are available now to directly and legally exchange to and from WMX (Bitcoin).

What conversion rate will they use for WMX? Base on what? MtGox? ;-)

One correction to the above post. 1 WMX = 0.001 BTC or 1mBTC as some others like to call it.

So, are you now bullish, or does this not impact the wave count going forward?
