This is 100% true I predict by the end of 2017 the US will witness one of the largest economic crashes of all time.

I don't believe that it is going to happen and either to come with bitcoin. But maybe if that is going to happen with the economy of US then the USD is going to be affected at all and since the value of bitcoin is depending on the price of USD. Then value of bitcoin is going to be affected. But let's be positive that it is not going to happen.

But there are some analysis predicted that if Republican wins the election then US may face bigger economic issues in next year. It may be true because if Democrats win the election then the current policies laid out by current government will continue and the economy will also improve. If government change doesn't know how it will change the current policies and it amy affect the growth of US economy.

If Trump wins the economy crashes almost immediately in anticipation of an end to the FEDs easy money policies. If Hillary wins the market keeps setting ATHs confident in knowing rates won't go up and more QE will be supplied. The real economy (those who produce things of value) is already contracting, the volume in stock markets is continually declining, and bonds are already returning negative yields in much of the world. Trump=Greater Depression and economic collapse, Hillary= Hyper inflationary economic combustion along the lines of Venezuela or Zimbabwe.

Its kind of funny, for a community so hyper alert to the preponderance of ponzi schemes many bitcoiners don't seem to notice the giant one staring them in the face.

Just to let you guys know a big crash is coming in 2016 in the economy. There is going to be a huge financial crisis but it will be worse than 2009.

The bitcoin price will skyrocket to over $10,000. However  bitcoin will be banned in all western countries. If you are reading this living in the west you should make preparations to move to Russia or China they are the only places you will be safe owning bitcoins.

The crisis will be so big it will destroy entire countries and in 2017 there will be a civil war in the USA, UK and western europe. After this the world will never be the same again it will change so much by 2020 it will be unrecognizable compared to today.

Even if the fiat market crashed, I don't know if bitcoin would reach the $ 10K mark, as some people say.  With so many people moving to the bitcoin, not sure if it would be able to scale so promptly.

Don't believe it that crash is going to happen, because it already happened if you are going to remember the sudden price fall of bitcoin. The rapid price fall of then maybe that is the big crash that was describing of op to this post. So, we don't have to expect a big crash for the next days, but let's expect for a big rise.

We normally experience price drop of bitcoin because  of some circumstances and you are right ill assume that OP meant to  a crash where bitcoin would  drop its price to the bottom which is think its impossible to happen. Price drops are just normal but  as we all see that bitcoins price gradually increases after  price drop.

Bitcoin crashes every year, especially when a big hack or law enforcement event occurs. It's already lost about 25% this year after the Bitfinix hack. This time there is no sign of recovery.

Eventually people will figure out that Bitcoin is extremely overpriced. Other cryptocurrencies have the same or better functionality but have a fraction of Bitcoin's price. Bitcoin's bubble is doomed.

I also see that as a normal event where the price will drop, for us investors we consider that as the opportunity to buy more bitcoin or invest for a short period of time to gain profit as it is expected that the price will normally rise. In that scenario the group of traders will also make profit because they make money with the price fluctuations.

in my opinion what will make the bitcoin price rise will be capital controls which will come into effect when the next crisis happens, which is inevitable after the crazy money printing and negative interest rate policies the have brought in,
western governments will be desperate to keep all the money within their countries,
it will start with them trying to go to a cashless society so they have full control of the public's money,

remember the reason bitcoin rose so much in the last few years was helped by the chinese using it to get cash out of the country to invest abroad because of china has capital controls and fear of their government devaluing the yuan.

Let me guess - you are basing your opinion, like tens of millions of others, on the price of oil?  

Plastic is made from oil.  China is just discovering plastic.

Well... this was started in January... But if you haven't figured it out yet. The crisis will be involving pension funds and too low interest rates to yield anything for those pension funds... and a consequence the pensions are being used in the stock markets gambling experience! 

And since socialism isn't a virtue in the West.. to take from the wealthy and give to the poor... Well.. then.. bummer! You will just have to crash and burn in to more poverty!

Also... besides the banks that will fail... there will be also the insurance chain of enterprises that are tight with the banks and they are like a safety net for the banks to save them. But guess what? Those also fail miserably... because they have executives with huge bonuses and nada socialism perspective as it should be. They always count on the new/future inflows of cash to supply them and have no consistent reserves.

My advice is that you should stop paying for health insurance and stop your contributions to the pension funds if you can.
