What keeps you coming back???

I have been gambling for 3 years and every time i decide to quit it there is something what bring me back. Not only me but with a lot of people is the same.
Is it addiction or just those casinos have something that pushes us to keep gambling?
It is not about money because even if i have enough money i keep gambling for no reason.
 

You're addicted! if gambling is affecting your life in a negative way then you must seek a professional's help(gambling therapy). addiction is pretty nasty thing, get yourself out before it's too late.

It is never easy to leave gambling right? Everyone know bout that .
Just treat gambling better , i mean don't set any target in gambling just like when you are usually doing it in other profitable business.
It is just an exclusive hobby that mostly cost a lot of money , so just try to gamble such as twice a month or so.

yeah its really hard to leave gambling if you ask alot of people in this forum. some people put goals and almost reached it but failed and ended up losing up all its better to not set target. some others gamble to get profit but its not their hobby. its better to not gamble rather than gamble twice a month

Of course it's hard if you have no plans to change and that reasons that kept you from coming back certainly brought negative effects with your decisions to leave gambling. Not exactly fun is the reason why you kept on doing it despite of all failures happened like wasting money from more losses of your bets.  So much better to have control than addiction, and it might lead you to loss of funds.

I just keep on gambling for fun and for a little profit. But the main reason why I gamble is just for fun, I don't take gambling seriously because it can cause a lot of stress when you lose a lot of money. Just enjoy gambling it was made for entertainment not just for profit

For most of people it's much hard to accept the lose on online gambling casino every time we got cheated by that casino. That is big reason which keep to chase our lose and in the end got addiction. This kind of thinking is really big problem and that is why so we see people crying while playing.

Accepting lose is never been easy to all of us. We have different levels of pride, there are gamblers that can easily accept defeat. But for some there are that can hardly accept it. Before it is one of the reason why I'm coming back, it's pushing myself to recover my lose and there is something telling in my mind that I shouldn't accept defeat.

It's a human nature.. losing is really hard to accept no matter what game we play. It really sometimes treat them as a form  demotivation so that's why people don't really accept being a loser. Good thing you were able to recover yourself from chasing your loses. It's really not a good behavior in gambling because you will not really ended up well and recover everything.

It will pull you down when you are feeling down and especially when you lost a big amount. It's hard to accept it, you'll do whatever it takes to recover that amount because you will think and regret it most of the time. And once you are not comfortable about that lose, it will always trigger you to get back again and again.

Precisely, they are triggered to get back again because they wanted to retrieve their loses on playing gambling. And we must avoid that minset because that will bring us from addiction and deplition of our money. We should always remind that gambling isn't the way to earn profit and play only the money thay we afford to lose.

We always want to retrieve our losses and it is happening most of the time. We can't control ourselves when we are starting to recognize our losses. There's nothing we are going to think but to recover it as soon as possible. And even it will take a lot of losses as long as we can recover that with a single blow.

That is really the start of the problem when people are chasing their losses. Most of the time, these people are driven by their emotions and can sometimes missed to realize that they are already losing big money out of chasing and hoping to win.

It is always causing a problem and it will never stop you when you started already to gamble. And this is happening to those small gamblers but if you are a big gambler and you are rich enough to play. You will just forget about your losses if you have a decent way of living but if you are depending on gambling, it will always make you come back.

But not all of the gamblers are rich, most of them don't have enough money, or should I say greedy people who do have lust for money that is why they are too addicted on gambling. They don't care even though they are losing too much of their money, what is important to them is they are going to keep on trying until they win a big amount of money, and gamble everyday until they make themselves rich people.

What keeps me coming back is the nostalgia of past in which i on a 1.3 btc Jackpot, i always think after losing that i might hit it again and accumulate back all my losses with a profit on it. I know it is addiction but i am mostly able to control it by limiting the amount i bet i.e. from 0.001 btc to 0.01 btc max.

This is only my observation and opinion based on my personal experience also, i keep playing its because i find it way easier to have money and easier to lose also. Just like what the others usually say, make sure you gamble an amount you can afford to lose. Greediness also is one of the hindrances why you keep coming back,  but just make sure to discipline yourself.

Today is such a day where Champions game should be easily predictable on paper, but we will see that in reality they may not get the end result as we thought and placed our bets. There is just that spark that tells you come play one last time as you will win today. This is common in gamblers behavior.

i can agree with that mate, as inside my mind that i really wanted to stop for that day since i already win or already lose enough but coming out from behind my mind that keep saying that for the last time for sure you will able to win it and recover or to win much huge earnings but in the end of the day you will just realize that mistakes happen again and you will keep coming to try it again and again.

I agree that the amount one gambles is not that important but the frequency of gambling is associated with addiction. If they cant stop gambling and it affects other aspects of their lives then definitely they are addicted. It is possible for a person to gamble a lot one day and not gamble any more. Even if the gamble a very small amount, chasing losses is why they come back more and this leads to more addiction.

Everyone could stop right away when they feel that they want to stop. The problem is within the person, some people keep claiming that they cant stop while in fact they are the one that keep on pressuring their own self not to stop because they think that they can win some money and that is a fact for sure

I think that is the most common reason, although there are people who really do that but still majority of gamblers still come back because they want to experience the fun again. Our interest can change from time to time but we cannot deny the fact that the reason why we are attracted to gamble is because of the fun and even though we lose we can let go of it just to be entertain again.

I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?

Because you want to earn more and you want to get all your money back. But most of the times you don't get back you have to move on.

That is the mistake that we all do that if we win we try to win even more and if we loose we keep on coming back to recover our loss and in both the cases only house gets benefited from it as in long run we will surely loose whatever we have won so far.

If every person would be able to recover their loss of capital and not lose anything and have a net change of zero then there would be not profit for the casino. It is the casinos earning every time the house edge wipes away your balance and if you can keep control of your greed. Chasing losses is a very bad but common habit among new gamblers and it potentially leads to gambling addiction.

Hope of winning is what keeps me coming back. I am an optimist guy and I do not give up that easily. I always strive to be positive. So, when I lose a game, I come back afterwards because I still have hope and I am sure one day I will win it all. Added to that, greed is also what keeps me coming back. When I win, greed surrounds my mind and asks me to play again, and to win again. Greed of money. I want what's best for me. That's why I always come back.
