I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?

I really think that most gamblers keep playing is just because gambling is fun. It's fun if you win money through gambling and the game it self is fun. Gambling is made for entertainment and some profit, so that's why people find it fun and interesting to gamble.

Greed and loses are the main reason why people keeps coming back. Greed, because eventhough they have won already, they are still not contented with it and even wants more. But when their luck run out, they think that they need to comeback again and recover. So they have started on becoming addicted. Yes, you are right the only reason behind the fact that even after losing a great amount of money that has been earned through efforts people never give up on gambling is mere addiction. Only the profit seeking gamblers have such sort of practice in their life.

I think thats why almost all people who was addicted to gambling became poor and broke. I dont say all because some of them can control themselves on how much they can afford to lose. And thats great. Almost everytime that the person loses his cool in gambling always end up losing. I think why you are keep going back is for the first primary cause. You want to take back your lost money and want to gain a lot of profits. But sometimes it didnt go according to your plan. Just play moderately and dont be consumed by it. For me if i win like a week of my salary, then i always stop and not taking the risk.

Too much gambling, greed, uncontrolled self are the things that usually lead the gambler back.
