Would you eat a human?

What if it was the sacrificed child of your enemy? What if it gave you secret powers? What if it held the key to world domination? Would you do it? Would you eat another person?

I would eat another person without the threat of danger urging me to do it. I am not a cannibal but I think there is a huge misunderstanding when it comes to this topic. On the daily humans consume great amounts of flesh in numbers, we do this thing where we choose animals fit for death and sacrifice. We feast on pigs, cows, and even lamb but condemn others that choose other forms of substance. Meat is meat and flesh is flesh, either way it has to be cooked to be properly consumed therefore we are not complete savages. So again, I would definitely eat a person the same way most of us would turn our heads to pig consumption but bat an eye with cannibalism and dog consumption.

Whatever the situation I am facing, I will never eat human flesh. Just imagining it was disgusted. Many factors make me not eat human flesh. The first I will not like the taste, then, eating human flesh is a very disgusting thing to me, then there is no habit of eating human meat here, and my religion also does not allow us to eat human flesh. There is no reason for me to eat human flesh.

Religion actually encourages its followers to think of its head member as a eaten sacrifice. The followers are to think of their head as a eaten person. They use bread (to symbolize a meaty body) and wine (red color as that of blood to drink). Its an encouraged practice of religion for followers to think in cannabalistic terms. Despicable.

Probably no.Yes some people have eaten many animals (some of them feels disgusting) and in the past there were cannibals people, but I don't think I could eat an other person regardless of earnings.

Why should I eat human being for God sake. Human beings is not main to be consumed as food by another human reason been that human body is not a healthy food, and it is inhuman to consume  human body. Those in Australasia almost always have a ritual purpose. Maybe they don't really need the protein. 

I don't hear much about South America though. Whenever I think of brutal there, the only thing that came to my mind are the shrunken heads. Do they eat the body of those?

Cannibalism (of all types) was extremely common in South America (perhaps with the exception of the Inca-Patagonia areas). Before the genocide by the Europeans, the natives had no taboo against eating human meat. They regarded human meat just like any other type of meat. In fact, human meat was much more valued than animal meat.

I can hardly force myself to eat some animals, even that is too much for me and eating humans is out of the question. I know there are situations when eating humans was the only way to survive and survivng is one of the strongest human insticts but I'm pretty sure I could never do such thing.

Perhaps what he meant was that he would never eat human meat under "normal" circumstances. It is easy to be a keyboard warrior. But when you face real situations, what you had practiced in theory may not be practical in real life. But I agree with you. People should not be over-confident about themselves.

If it was a life and death situation for me or my loved ones you best believe we'd be eating some human.  I'm from TX and can BBQ anything... low and slow would be the way to go.  LOL

It is too disgusting even to think off. I don't believe that I have the guts to eat human meat, no matter how much desperate I am. If I don't know that it is human meat, then I may eat it. But knowingly, it is impossible to eat human flesh.
