Nice to see Hodlcoin making a come back. It's still one of my top holdings in terms of # of coins. Hopefully we will see some new improvements this year.

For the first time, I solo mine HODLcoin 2 years ago...

All coins mature after a year with interest, later I bought some more coins from coin exchange when it was cheap.

Look at now  Shocked

It is great to see HODLCoin Rise and moving north, Which was undervalued and unnoticed within crypto space.

Like the new Logo!!

Great job by the Dev - HODL Team.

I fired up an old Hodlcoin wallet on my Windows7 laptop (32bit). After some time of snych I get the message

No blocksource available ( I am not sure whether that would be the message in English as I get in German).

On my Windows 10 PC  the Hodlcoin wallet synchs without problem

What is the reason, what do I have to change?

Do you use the latest 3.01 version? It should find block sources.

You can check

So we saw the sudden pump, now it looks like the dump has come. Such a shame. Of all the people involved in crypto I think the worst scum are those groups of whales that collude to artificially drive up an altcoin price, attract some interest, then dump all over everyone else. It can destroy a promising coin.

I bought over 6000 Hodlcoin and hodled some for 3 months and some for 12 months so I hope that in the medium term people will see that this is actually a great idea, but I fear that it will dump so bad that it will get lost in the "shitcoin" desert.

Anyway - I have a question. I can see that the wallet allows solo mining, but if I want to use other machines on my local network to mine to my wallet, can I get stand-alone mining software and point them at the IP and port of my wallet, or do I just have to install the wallet on every machine and just mine locally to each machine's separate wallet.

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

hodl.optiminer.pl down

The DB size grew to >4GB which it was not prepared for. Shocked

Originally, I set up this mining pool when there was no pool available as due to the forced locking of coins for 1 year. This is no longer true and there are alternative pools again. As I do not have the time that would be required to run and monitor the pool at a professional service level, I do not intend to bring the pool back up.

I will work on restoring the DB and paying out the outstanding balances in the next weeks.

Thanks for all the mining and don't forget to hodl your coins!

All outstanding balances have been payed now!

As I noticed that there seems to be only one hodl mining pool alive, I might bring up my pool again. But it first requires some changes to the mining and database.
