I'm having some minor issues with mining on Windows 10 64. Regardless of the number of mining threads set (genproclimit), the miner takes all cores (4 in my case) hodlcoin-qt reports Miners:1, Threads:1. I have not changed any mem settings. To make matters worse this affects ethereum mining on GPU as 100% CPU load affects the GPU load. I tried setting the priority of the HOdl miner to low, but no dice. Also, the avx2 option crashes the app from time to time (I have gen 4 core i5, which supports it) Anybody experiencing similar issues? Any solutions ?
how are you configuring genproclimit ? via commandline, hodlcoin.conf or entered via debug window ? if it is via the conf file, is it in the same folder as the wallet.dat file ? can you tell me exactly which cpu it is. i may need to look at your debug.log , but for that it would be best you join us on our slack channel hodlcoin.slack.com

Could anyone help me with this error msg? "Cannot obtain a lock in data directory. Hodlcoin Core is prorably already running. Access denied Win10 64bit version Thanks! This means the program hodlcoin-qt was not able to access the directory that contains the blockchain files which is a leveldb database. This happens if you already have hodlcoin running, check your task manager makes sure there is no other leftover hodl process running. Also you may not have administrative access to c:\Program Files\Hodlcoin , i assume you are the user who installed windows and hence is also the administrator ?

Hi, I have visited your website and am a little bit unclear, as to what the current interest rates are. That is most likely due to me not fully understanding, but I would be very grateful, if someone could clarify this issue for me. On http://hodlcoin.com/ you see a quoted APR of 2000%. When I go to the Term Deposit Calculator it showes me a 71.7% APR on a 365 days Term. What is the actual rate atm, one would receive, if he locked up the coins for 365 days? If it is 71.7%, would there be a way of increasing the Interest? thanks in advance for every answer

I've got at least 200 HODL (so at least 4 separate 50 hodl payments) that the optiminer pool says it has paid out but they are not showing up in my wallet. The transactions should at least be hitting my wallet even if they are not confirmed yet. Not sure whose issue this is, the new wallet or the pool. Before the fork/new wallets the pool payout to my address was flawless for months.
using 3.01 wallet

The 2000% interest was given at the start of mining when the Hodl coin came online more than a year ago.

Payments from optiminer are coming through fine to my v3.0.1 wallet. Try checking the blockchain explorer (search your miner wallet address), and if the transactions look okay there try deleting your blockchain data and let the wallet re-sync.

I am using v3.0.1 I tried sending some hodl to another wallet, and nothing either. I even tried looking at hodl explorer and no record, so I don't know why I can't send coins anywhere.

Blockexplorer shows I should have 450 hodl from the pool, so the pool paid out but the coins don't show up in the wallet. And, my debug/information window shows that I'm a good two days behind in blocks read. So that's the issue.

And, my debug/information window shows that I'm a good two days behind in blocks read. So that's the issue. I have 3 instances of my wallet on 3 different computers. All are at 3.01 now. Last night I blew away the blocks and chainstate folders on all of them. today, I have one wallet that seems to be current, and I used that to do a "send to self" transaction today. On the computer that I did the transaction on, everything is normal. On a second computer, my transaction list is missing the send to self transaction. On the third computer, I'm stuck synchronizing at 49 weeks behind. So things are rather....inconsistent right now.
