I didn't talk about mining.
I talked about fake orders.
You can easily spot many of them on smaller coins: they are pretty evident as they trade at prices not available on the order book, keeping the daily volume over 1 BTC to lure customers into trading that coin.

pretty standard practice on any exchange if you wanna pump the volume,
you can do it thru api no prob, although bittrex is a bit "sensitive" to such activity )

No, that is made by the exchange itself.
You can't make trades against prices which are not on the order book (API or non-API), you must match an order with your trade.
I've seen that kind of activity on Cryptopia only.

ok you make an order and fill it yourself almost immediately, what's the point ?

Yes that is possible, I've seen that on other exchanges, and it behaves differently than those orders on cryptopia.
Anyways, there is no way to measure trust of an exchange: if you trust cryptopia more than for example novaexchange, you may have your reasons for that.
I have mine and from my experience I prefer nova over cryptopia by a wide margin. It's not just those fake orders. While on nova they got hacked and I recovered all my coins in a matter of hours.
People will make their own choises.

Ok pallas, you are probably right Smiley for you nova is worth..., for me Topia .. Smiley just I don't want to spend 1+ BTC just to list the J ..., that will be the same if I just gift 1/10 of my J..., what's the point then ?
in that way.., scrolling around the exchangers..., will trade J in the time.., that's it ... The price everywhere is going  down....
13-14 months I support it.., probably the time to go rid of it and stop mineit is close

I have one project coming to promote Joincoin as a coin having one of the most incentivized acceptance and referral to use. It would be a real costly standalone program, taking months to build. It is unclear yet if I can afford to make it happen by myself.  Cheesy

These would be brand-name programs/cross-platform, independent of the network, as automated as possible, tailored hour-to-hour and day-to-day, to promote adoption by any users in general, who might not and need not involve be involved edit in mining/network activities.

Likely fully tested and ready to use and to promote Joincoin in 2-3 months.  Cheesy

Hi,

any chance that BIP65 gets implemented in the wallet? Would be needed to be able to trade Joincoin on BarterDEX, a decentralized exchange.

We might need the capability for micropayment, once transaction and network start to pick up fast.  Cheesy

I installed the new windows x64 wallet can not be synchronized. Add a network node is useless, what is the solution? Another wallet does not support WIN 10 system, can correct it? Smiley
