I'm only market making 1337 on Cryptopia. Not worth the time for me to do it on other exchanges.  Tongue

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

what exactly are you doing in cryptoria? because the price is pretty much stuck on the same level.

this is also why i dont trade 1337 anymore, just buy them and staking.

1337 coin is very well done. The technical side of the magnificent Smiley Failure only in marketing. I hope that the new project will be the same. Only marketing would be super Smiley

I agree everything with 1337 coin is great expect for the promotional side of things. I try and promote 1337 coins as much as I can and sometimes even tweet on Twitter about this coin and that I continue to buy 1337 coins. But we need to reach a far bigger audience and so maybe once the coin swap is done we can have some campaigns like Twitter and a signature campaign to get more exposure for the coin.

I'm up for it not that i've got many followers but we could try n get @bitcoindood involved if velvets up for it he could possibly get exposure through an interview.

...
Please can you ask yobit to release my coin as I wanted to send it to poswallet for staking for about 5 days now I cannot

I'm sorry but if yobit aren't answering support tickets your coins are probably lost.

how many coins did you send?

I agree if the dev can get in contact with Bitcoindood and have an interview it should help with exposure as I follow him on Twitter and he does promote a lot of crypto coins. So maybe this might be worth a try and see how it goes.

As I have been saying Yobit is the worst exchange to deal with and I'm sorry that your coins are stuck but us here can't really do much as we don't work for Yobit so I suggest you keep at them and keep sending in support tickets and hopefully you will get an answer soon.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

@Velvet. If you get the "Repairwallet" to work so that it'd get rid of the orphan, it would definitely help to optimize the wallet so it would run better.

WOW! In the last 24 hours we have seen the price rise to over 140% and almost reaching that 1 sats mark again. It would of been nice to see it break back into the 1 sats range. It might be because of the news that Velvet78 is working on the new coin for the swap so people are buying cheap 1337 coins ready for the swap. Can't wait for the new coin to be released!

i still wonder what will be more profitable, to keep on staking 1337, or to swap all the coins for w00t.

I was thinking the same thing, so I think I'll see how well the new coin dose before I decide to swap my current 1337 coins for w00t. If all looks good then I may well swap a certain percentage of my 1337 coins for w00t as I still like to hold some 1337 coins. Time will tell which would be more profitable.

good questions. while i dont have an answer to them there are a few things to consider:

- 1337 is already on several exchanges. w00t is going to have a fresh start and i cant guarantee it will be listed anywhere (yet)
- 1337 is halving the apr every 3 months till we reach 13.37% a year. w00t has a fixed apr of 133.7% (so might be more interesting for stakers)
- the swap period will be 2 months, the more 1337 gets swapped for w00t, the lower the actual supply of 1337 will become which would hopefully lead to more room for the price to improve. on the other hand, if not alot of 1337 gets swapped, w00t will have a very low supply too... all remaining w00t will be burned after the 2 months and the 1337 thats being swapped will be burned too.

exciting times ahead of us Smiley

is w00t a swap or a new coin?

usually a swap replaces the coin that was swapped for it with markets for 1337 then being replaced with markets for w00t  Huh
I realize that its a whole new chain and therefore keeping 1337 alive is possible but why?

let me add more to the confusion by calling it an ICO? One that only accepts 1337 as form of payment but instead of pocketing those funds they get burned. there are 2 main reasons why i got myself into this prolonged headache (besides the obvious one, continuation of the projects) :

1. Reducing the current actual amount of 1337 out there (especially the huge sell walls on some of the exchanges which prevented the price from moving)
2. to re-bundle the remaining value into a new coin with less inflation and a much lower supply.

- the swap period will be 2 months, the more 1337 gets swapped for w00t, the lower the actual supply of 1337 will become which would hopefully lead to more room for the price to improve. on the other hand, if not alot of 1337 gets swapped, w00t will have a very low supply too... all remaining w00t will be burned after the 2 months and the 1337 thats being swapped will be burned too.

exciting times ahead of us Smiley

when a swap will start?

as soon as im finished. still got some work to do and need to look into some stuff that someone pointed me towards.

Thanks for clearing some of these things up. It's going to be exciting times ahead to see what happens here and like I said I may swap some 1337 coins for w00t and keep the rest as no one knows what will happen with the price between the two coins. Either way I think it will be a win win situation but we shall see if I'm right.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

is w00t a swap or a new coin?

usually a swap replaces the coin that was swapped for it with markets for 1337 then being replaced with markets for w00t  Huh

You're missing a key element in your assessment. The major reason for the resistance of an upward move is because on Cryptopia, you don't have a bitcoin based pair. So what happens is that you have a path of least resistance for exit points and this is what causes the imbalance between the exchanges and the sub satoshi price as a consequence.
