1337 is moving up also at the alternative market. from 0.003 dogecoin to 0.01 dogecoin which is about 0.2 satoshi, the way to a steady 1 satoshi is still long.

This is great to see, I agree that we are still a long way off to reaching 1 sats again but hopefully it can some time soon. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the new coin will do to 1337 as no one knows if the price will rise or fall and like I said I think I'll swap 50% of my 1337 coins for the new coin and just hold the other 50% to see what happens to the price.

i think i will continue to keep all my 1337 and not swapping them. however once w00t will be listed in exchange site we will be able to see the real value of the new coin and than i`ll buy w00t with my faucet earnings, because if we swap our 1337 coins to w00t without it being listed at least on one exchange site its 100% gambling.

faucets dont pay much these days, so i hope the swap will be as late as possible because i want to buy as much as i can at low price.

Yeah you may be right by doing this and I may also rethink my strategy as I forgot about if w00t is not listed on an exchange right away and it will be like gambling as we don't know if it will be listed or not. I agree with the faucets mate as the earnings are now low due to the price of BTC going up but if you are lucky you can get some Alts from faucets and then use them to buy the new w00t.

all altcoins are a gamble, I'm getting a good chunk of w00t with my 1337 it doesn't cost much and theres not a great deal else to do with em. When w00t hits an exchange its likely to be at a higher value than 1337, and it will get on an exchange look how many absolute arse project coins get listed with no possible future and a newbie account launching it. Velvet has proven his dedication and ability time and time again so why wouldn't it?

Everyone has made some valid points on when the new w00t coin will be released and I may stick to my first strategy which was swap 50% 1337 coins and keep the rest or do a 30% swap and keep 70%. I think I'll just see what happens and I agree that Velvet has proven him self time and time again and trust in his decisions.

Did the SWAP happened already? Sad Sad

No. :-)

Has anyone else been tricked by C-Cex when they suddenly announced the delisting of 1337 with the broken wallet? Not a chance of course to withdraw those coins.

Given the staking rate and given that I still have plenty of 1337, I will recover from this loss, but I still wonder about this behaviour by an exchange. What is your experience?

this behavior is standard for c-cex since the beginning,
everybody who knows em simply adapted

Yep this is another exchange along with Yobit that I have left behind because I don't like what they both do when it comes to staking coins like 1337 and many others. A lot of the time the wallets go into maintenance for no reason and stay like that for a while before they are back online. I got sick of it and sold all my coins and withdrew the BTC and left and have never returned. That is your best option sell the coins you have there and withdrew the BTC, it might be a small loss but it's better then losing everything.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

good advice, I keep checking yobit for old orders to be filled (so many shitcoins lol) before buying doge and withdrawing it to save on fees  Wink

i left c-cex and yobit long time ago. i prefer to trade at bittrex but it is only good if you have lots of free btc to invest as the minimum bid is 50,000 satoshi.

I agree and I know what you mean that there are so many coins that are either dead or not active devs on Yobit and also on C-cex exchange lol The funny thing is I always see the active coins up for delisting but the dead coins seem to stay on these exchanges lol It just doesn't make sense to me. Anyway just as long as 1337 coin stays listed on Cryptopia I'm happy.

I dont think that 1337 will be delisted anytime soon from cryptopia. The coin is traded actively on the ltc and other markets!

1337 is still doing well when it comes to LTC and Doge but I would like to see more trades done in BTC on either Yobit or one of the other exchanges. I'll be picking up some more 1337 coins to add to my stake once I get paid from a couple of faucets. Any news on when w00t will be released?

still no help with coins stuck on ccex?

They just delisted 1337 and cleared the balance (you wonder if the 1337 went into the trash or somewhere else ...). I opened a ticket and got this reply: "1337 coin blockchain broken. Deposits and withdrawals are not possible while developer do not fix it. We wrote several times to their forum - no reaction from dev..."  Angry

It's a shame that it had to end this way but I don't believe that statement to be 100% true as the dev did try and help fix the issue but it seems that it's on their end as why is the other exchanges working fine except for C-cex. I also wonder where the coins have gone as they would not just throw them away.

Exactly my point that I raised in the ticket with them. Why does it work in other exchanges when the blockchain was reportedly broken? Why was it no difficulty to send from my desktop wallet coins to other wallets / exchanges etc. (should not be possible with a broken blockchain).
It's not the amount of my coins that they cashed in (about 5 Mio) that I am annoyed about, it's the attitude that C-Cex has, which is really bad here.

I agree as they just blame the dev and the broken blockchain and there attitude was that if it wasn't going to be fix then they will delist 1337 coin from the exchange. But like we all know here the dev did try and help them but it seemed like they didn't even try and work with the dev on the problem. If it's working on other exchanges then it's just common sense that it must be on C-cex's side that the problem is lol I feel sorry for the ones who have lost having their coins on this exchange.
