What is the advantage of being masternode?
Its usually more rewarding than pure staking.
Masternode+ staking wallet is often a nice combo.

What is the advantage of being masternode?

By running a Nucleus node you are supporting and strengthening Neutron's Network. The school of thought is that the more people that are happily running nodes, the healthier and strong a network is. I believe the thought behind MN itself was to reward people for running Nodes to inspire growth.

It makes sense to me..., people who want to run nodes get paid for doing so, I like that, I think thats fair, they keep the network up and solid so that everyone's transactions are processed nicely.

I agreed with a solid network is must for the project to grow. I have few MNs and building up more.

Hi Audiotopix,

Have you setup a date for the Mandatory Client Update yet? The community can help tweet and spread the information around. It's good to raise awareness.

Hi Audiotopix,

Have you setup a date for the Mandatory Client Update yet? The community can help tweet and spread the information around. It's good to raise awareness.

It is best If everyone moves over to the newest client linked in the OP of this thread or the official website ASAP.

The new client runs smooth as silk and is by far superior to the old.

Please tell anyone you can to move on over if they haven't already.

A network patch will be deployed soon.

Anyone running the official "Bitlab" neutron clients will not notice any change.

News here? Or why this going up?

Likely because there is a new team, new thread, new look,  new nodes,  new block explorer,  new website,  new wallets for all 3 platforms,  working masternodes,  advertisement coming soon,  weve started over and we are here to stay.
So download the wallet,  cruise on over to bittrex,  buy some neutron and stake it!

Hello guys. I've just noticed the upgrade... I just installed a server @ home, so I installed the previous version.

How should I proceed now for the upgrade?? I'm a total noob to linux (ubuntu server) so any help would be appreciated.

Would it be best to fully "uninstall" previous wallet?? or can I upgrade it in  an easy way??

TIA

Willy
