Nah, for sure July.  Think of how many tb's $30k is buying.  Absolutely no way to plot all that by 2nd week of Jan (~4 weeks).

Thanks for letting us know dev and well shall looki forward to Monday for this announcement.

I think we will start to see more and more large investors joining the Burst community in the new year once people start seeing the potential Burst has to offer. As I have been saying 2017 I think will be a break out year for Burst so again now is the time to buy while the price is below 100 sats which I still think is a steal at that price and that's why I have been buying as much as I can.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

I think Burst need like some kind of 'term deposit', can in Asset or something else. Because when we buy Burst, we invest in Asset, the Asset Issuer will sell again in exchanger. That's why Burst price cannot grow exponentially, IMHO.

What you guys thinking?

Maybe u can invest in a GPU , after plotting sell it off at 10-20% off original price. Time equals money , the faster u plot , the more u get. Or u can even buy a second hand GPU , after plotting sell it off.

If I own 10 assets of "X", and I put a sell order on 5 of the 10, do I get dividends paid to me for 5 or 10 worth if my order hasn't been filled yet?

Nah, for sure July.  Think of how many tb's $30k is buying.  Absolutely no way to plot all that by 2nd week of Jan (~4 weeks).

Dont doubt my in house nerd who will be building it all. He's been building stuff since he was 2 and that was 45 years ago. Second week of January for sure we'll be running, maybe even sooner. Fingers crossed.

There are no significant electricity expenses while using POC mining?

It doesn't matter if the hardware is HDD,SSD,3.0,2.0 etc.?

Sorry for asking too many questions, I just skimmed through the thread and the concept intrigued me  a bit  Cheesy

I would invest in a 10 tb HDD, but it would take almost a year to repay the investment

I'd still have a 10 tb drive though and I could expect the price to rise, but a year is a long time to expect a new altcoin to last

I'm wondering if it affects electricity usage, it doesn't?

Looking for a signature campaign.

That's really slow - I'm CPU plotting a drive at the moment, and it's doing around 3TB in 24 hours.

The other thing to keep in mind...you don't have to plot the whole thing before you can start mining.  I have 12TB plotted but I was up and mining after my first 100GB plot.  Then I kept adding.  If that makes sense?

You can do your plotting in small chunks, and get up and mining quicker - but in terms of efficiency and speed of mining, a single plot for the whole drive is much better.
