With dcct's optimizer tool, is it possible generate the optimized plots in a specified location?  I generated my plots so they took nearly the entire drive, 2tb and 4tb plot files (well, ~1.8 & 3.6 tb to be more accurate).  Therefore, if I wanted to optimize, I would either need to replot so they're currentDriveSize / 2, or have a way to specify directory of optimized plot. Thanks for the help!

Now this is what I have been waiting for a very long time. An asset that is backed by silver and earn monthly dividends. These won't last long so now is a good time to buy. I purchased as many as I could.

Hi all Burst veterans!

I am new to Burst - the whole "mine with your free HDD capacity" thing caught my eye :-)

What amount of Burst would one expect to be able to mine (per day) with a 1TB drive. I use 1 TB just as a bench-mark, I would of course try and get as many TB's as possible if it looks profitable.

I also see that there are custom assets on the Burst exchange? This looks interesting - I guess I can buy these assets with the Burst I mine?

I will be mining on Windows 10. I have downloaded the wallet, installed and have it all set up. I am also currently downloading the blockchain file. Tonight I will start setting up everything and plotting a test drive or two.

I was just wondering what I could expect as a normal return on (say) a 1TB drive.

i´m very new to Burst but interesting project because of PoC-mining. Installed the online wallet and plotted part of my internal disc (198GB) and a part of brand new seagate 4 TB HDD (346 GB) to test mining. Config changed like in the burst forum explanation videos. 198 GB (Desktop) alone works fine, but combined with plotted part of  HDD an error occured [Error1007 The deadline for you nonce is really bad, 11.000years]. I plotted the drive with the online wallet plotter. What can i do to solve the problem???

I just need to get this clear:
You installed daWallet's windows client. The program where your wallet, plotter and miner are located in. You mined with your desktop before and it worked flawlessly without any problems. You then bought an HDD and plotted 346 GB to it and now it doesn't work. In total you want to mine with ~540 GB.

Try to delete the plot from the HDD (:\Burst\plots) and replot the drive. Do this while the HDD is connected to the desktop.
If this doesn't work tell me what pool you are mining to and what our OS is.

thx for your answer! your descripton is right. beside the online wallet i have also installed the linux desktop version, but the online is more comfortable for plotting. i use the miner-burst V.1.160705. Made a screenshot from my desktop with the error message if this is more helpful but didn´t know how to integrate this in this post.

Now this is what I have been waiting for a very long time. An asset that is backed by silver and earn monthly dividends. These won't last long so now is a good time to buy. I purchased as many as I could.

Forgot to mention I think, that the first dividend payout is going to be October 1st unless otherwise noted, we're still getting all the mining power together, and getting the first few batches of coin to do sales with, so it will take a bit more work to get it organized enough and get the solid payout going. But I will state now, that because it will take a little extra time, I promise to throw at least a 500k BURST bonus at the first asset payout, to give more incentive to get in now in the middle of August.

Here's to the future of BURST, and eventually being able to hold silver at lower than market rates, and get a large APR for it! We believe this asset is truly great, and are very excited about its potential.

On another note, there's a large venture getting started in the BURST team as we speak, it will be something that I don't believe any other coin has done, and it will be a business based on a project that will use BURST as its underlying architecture. Then, once we get the decentralized trade portal going (decentralized coin exchange portal) it will allow you to use multiple coins just like BURST to use this service and any other.

This is a very exciting time for BURST, very exciting indeed.



We're working out the remaining forking issues in the wallet, seems to only affect pools, or mostly pools, but we're on it, and once this is done, and the network is super solid again like it should be, we will be launching our worldwide hacker PR campaign, which should give BURST and QORA the attention they deserve for being the pioneer coins in the Smart Contract space, and having the most legit Smart Contract system around. Luxe's miner is pretty much the best one you can get. It is able to do both CPU and GPU mining and has been extremely stable for me. http://forums.burst-team.us:4567/topic/24/burstcoin-jminer-v0-4-2-gpu-assisted-poc-miner-all-platforms/1.

If you want to mine with multiple accounts on the same computer you should use blade's miner. http://forums.burst-team.us:4567/topic/64/blago-s-burst-miner-v1-160610-win/1 It is extremely stable and included in the windows miner.

Edit: Both are included in the windows miner. I would choose jminer for speed or Blago's miner for stability (Because it is older). They are both fast and stable, so what you pick doesn't really matter.
