Beh, I can assure you even that it will be not the last. All this storm after the story of Cryptsy and the following decrease of price of it in confront of us dollar. How many such stories have seen this monument since it born. In such few time of life so many earthquakes and foreseen which have seen it to many times dead. I remember the situation which reigned at one community of one forum (only for bitcoin at that time) after the story of MtGox and the down of price of bitcoin from about 1200 us dollar in about 120 dollar (but even less). Totally silence. No one discussion. Only one post from a girl: that was all? It is the end? In this way? But then was its return. Not so high but more stable. It will be same even this time. the problem is the trust in a manipulated market. fake volumes, in a supposed decentralized market ALL the exchangers have the same price. How is come?   Nobody is asking itself. "hey, the BTC is not a centralized stock market. How is it possible that all the exchangers (the big ones) to have almost the same price for Bitcoin while they certainly they don't have a "the same" order book."


Mike Hearn was a VERY close friend with many BTC investors, exchangers, miners. He knows a lot of dirty "secrets" from the BTC market; who owns it, who manipulate it. I do think Mike Hearn took a chance with his wallet and career, it didn't pan out how he sold people it would, and now is basically rage quiting etc.  However he does make some solid points.  In my region it is a concern that the CHINESE government could threaten the three largest pools and directly or indirectly control the BTC consensus.  No one talks about this massive third party trust risk, we need to figure this out one way or another.

For example, in Brazil 1 BTC is sold for ~R$1800, the convertion index is 1 USD x 4,04 BRL, so, take 1800/4,04 = 1BTC sold for U$445 in Brazil (U$65 above the average sold in Bitstamp). So, in Argentina, 1 BTC ~6570 ARS, then, take the index 1 USD = 0.07ARS and do 6570 x 0.07 = U$460. You can pick up random situations (In Belgium in can buy 1BTC to U$400, in Ukraine for U$430) and do some math to see how f******** decentralized the system is.... the spectrum is much larger and opportunities are bigger than trade fiat.

It was all just a scheme for Hearn to buy up some cheap BTC while the price recovers back up and get huge profits. While the news was spread among different media (with the purpose to destroy Bitcoin) it has in part been a good thing for it in order to lower prices a little more and buy cheap Bitcoins. Some of my profits from part time job goes to Bitcoin, so I am buying cheap BTC as well and storing it on paper wallets for the next price increase. The halving would bring pretty interesting results to the price, I guess. Bitcoin is far from being dead. It is much more alive than what you can think of. (probably even most than other alts)

Yeah, the price are low only for a short period, and they are going up now, as after $1200 they were came to $200, but now the price is much better and it is now going up I sure it will come to $400 within this month and will grow more to height.
