Seems that for the past 2 weeks, every coin I stack is "generated but not accepted". I have about 20 of these. Only 1 accepted over the past 2 weeks. Anyone know what's going on?
Yeah its relatively normal to get orphaned stakes, you should maybe try restarting your wallet every so often. You should be getting roughly 1 stake per 1000 RADS so look at your RADS amount and calculate your expected average time to generate a stake. Well, over the past month I've received .5 rads, but I have 24 that say "generated but not accepted". Staking 600 rads at the moment. I used to see some of these orphaned stakes, but since 9/1/17 it's just been nuts. Have restarted wallet several times, but doesn't seem to help. Running the 1.4.6 Linux wallet, is this the most current? Anything else I can do? Yep, I'm starting to lose patience with this coin. After a week of wallet open to staking, I've seen nothing. One of the main reasons to buy as much as i did was for the rewards to offset the risk if i was wrong. Can someone confirm with me how the tick in the bottom left corner of the wallet should look. Should it be highlighted in white like the lightening symbol is when you initiate staking? This is the only thing i can think why. Its not confidence inspiring seeing that the devs don't reply to peoples questions above. Ideas why? Do they actively use something else for comms? If you want direct 24/7 contact with the community and developers I suggest you join the telegram group ( https://t.me/RadiumOfficial). I personally only check BCT about once a week but will answer a pinged query on telegram within a few hours at best (unless I am sleeping xD). Yes the bottom left corner should be highlighted white and say staking. As some of the other community members have suggested, if you do not have a high node count its advisable to manually add nodes from the node list posted a couple of posts before or directly from our live node list on our explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/rads/#!network. Sorry for the delay but yeah, contact us on Telegram if you want a quick response (I've repeated this, I'd conservatively estimate, about 1000 times already).

I have the same problem with Windows wallet and I have only 1-3 active connection to the network. This problem was solved by adding to radium.conf file the following nodes:
Now 16-18 active connections and no orphanes.
Guys, I'm using Win10 and I can't find radium.conf file in %APPDATA%/Radium folder. I see only peers.dat but it's in hex format. Where do you find this conf file? Need I create it manually? I haven't issue with small active connections, always 20+ peers, but I have many orphanes and want to try your solution. Also the question about "-ban orphanes" option, is it still valid? I always started 1.4.6 Radium wallet with this option, but still have many orphanes, is it true that without this option it will be more orphanes?

Make a new text file, and rename it radium.conf. Its a little bit of a pain, I know. The -ban orphans option did not work as well as expected, and it was used to target orphan blocks during syncing, rather than during staking. The worst thing that would happen, is that you could loose some connections with it enabled. Its worth a try! We are aware of the syncing issues, and as a development team we are working to come up with a long term solution. What that solution will be, is yet to be determined as it will require some significant code changes. Justin (JJ12880)

That's weird, but my antivirus doesn't let me download Radium wallet. It says it is a virus. Is link https[Suspicious link removed] valid?
Allot of wallets do that for me. For instance google chrome tells me every wallet i try to download "could harm your computer" same with miners actually.

Yes, that is the correct link. You can double check it, (and i highly suggest you do) using this website provided by ProjectRadium: https://www.verify.software/You can also install our desktop verification software, found here: https://github.com/JJ12880/OneClickVerifyInstaller/releases It provides the same function as verify.software, by adding a "Verify signature with smartchain" option to the menue that appears when you right click on a file. It automatically checks the file hashes for you. Hope that helps! Justin

Yes, this happens because there was a time when many viruses hijacked computers and used their CPU's to mine for crypto's. Because of that, many anti-viruses flag any software that contains mining code. J

I know POS is kind of random but they generally have a percentage right? Whats radium percentage again?

There are some stats here, but not % return. https://radiumcore.org/statsThere is a bot in the telegram group that will give you real time updates, to the stake weight. The command is /blockchain@radiumbot. BUT to answer your question, currently, the % return is 21.74 %. Stake weight must be lower today. J

I don't ususally pay attention to a decrease in value for my long term holding coins...
But I just checked RADS, and there has been a significant drop in the last few days.
Is there a specific reason why?
It dropped dramatically in June and after some stabilisation, it is moving down again...
Sure it creates great buy opps, but that is not the best to have such a drop in a short period of time...

Yes, there is a reason! Almost all crypto is down 7 to 25% in the last week. Some say it is because bitcoin may fork again in some weeks and folks are selling alts for BTC. With that BTC they can get free coins from the fork like BCH was given in August.

Avast is so obtuse that it flags the official Core Bitcoin wallet as malicious... I'm beginning to think that the biggest threat to my crypto is anti-virus software... All of which contains elaborate key loggers so they can "help" me because we are all idiots to them On the above communique, if your key Dev is an ICU nurse... This project will not be able to compete with dozens (soon to be 100s) of ICOs bankrolled at $50 million.

I just did not see the same kind of major down for many coins.... so I was wondering what may be unique in the case of RADS making it more vulnerable at this present time.

It needs direction at this time. We need a picture of what will happen next and how we will attain these goals.

Hey, can anyone please explain how the PoS works for Radium Core?
Simply open your wallet up for staking, and you will get awarded ~ .5 coins a day per 1,000 coins.

The website seems to be working for me....
If you want to actually want to see the devs posting, sign up for telegram. Check the OP/ page 1 of the forum. Seems all the top wallets are not selling.
