Let say OK. if difference is 10% +/-, but 2 times is too much.

Thanks, now it is much much better (and also seems more stable)  Smiley

I'm fed up with shitty windows 7/10 stability and blackouts cause the huge problem. Farm is quite far away from home and if blackout happens at night only 30% of rigs came to life, other 70% should be powered mannualy.. So I'm looking for stable and reliable solution for my farm... There are 60+ rigs with 200+ GPU, the mining is splitted into three parts which means there are three different wallets/workers. What we need is a monitoring system and yeasy switchable solution from zcash to ethereum. I was thinking to order 2 or 3 ssd to test the OS itself. Also have some questions, some of them here and some in other posts.
How easy it is to control/monitor rigs remotely?
Also switching from coin to coin?
How fast is zcash miner, Claymore guves 130h/s from my rx480.
How modified bios affects eth mining ? I have modded all of them low power mod with 29.4mh/s.
Can I integrate all rigs in one monitoring window and also split in 2 or more instances for sifferent persons to watch their miners ?
PS. I see some spelling mistakes here, typing on mobile and my thick fingers do not allow to hit right keys and I'm sorry for that

not worth it at all ... just paid for one last night , installed to my ssd just for try Smiley , fired up one of my rig ...
each of my rx480 card hashing with 24-26MH/s ... the same cards hashing over 30MH/s under windows 10 , tried with single card setup , 6 cards setup , 7 cards setup ... 8 cards setup ( ethos recognized 8th card but 8th card never worked) , tried different miners as a default (ethminer, sgminer-gm, claymore ) all give me a 4-6MH/s less hashing speed than windows 10 /claymore's.
with 7 card installed the mining process got unnresponsive , saying is "Miner commanded to start."  No mining happening ...

still going to give myself a few days to play with ethos , if nothing get better , i must to do a paypal charge back Sad

Just a suggestion for all of you who purchasing ETHos ... use paypal , this way you have a chance to get back your money , if the system not working as is should Smiley

When will be available new version with better hashrate?
I have up 2 times better hashrate with Windows zcash Claymore SW than in ethos.
For example (the same hardware) zcash:
R9 270X - ethos 27H/s, Claymore 44H/s
R9 Fury - ethos 50H/s, Claymore 110H/s
similar with 370/280x/290/390/X/

Please do something with that A.S.A.P.
I powered off almost all ethos rigs and change it to Win with Claymore.
Let say OK. if difference is 10% +/-, but 2 times is too much.

and again...
270X - ethOS 1.1.5 -42H/s, Claymore V6 - 69H/s
modded RX470 - ethOS 1.1.5 -89H/s, Claymore V6 -145H/s

ethos team, wake up!

The only reason I'm not buying it now, I have 63 rigs btw

it is far more stable then windows, but some of us still prefer windows. you can set clocks memory etc on linux as well. and for ethereum linux is good, if i have to mine only eth with 2 or 3 rigs i'd prefer linux for sure

I have the last ethos software using on 4x RX480

the monitor shows that al the 4 cards are hashing at 24Mh/s each but when I look at the https://ethermine.org/miners/xxxxxxxxx it says current hash is 22 instade of 4x 24 (96mh/s)

so the actually only one RX480 is working?!!

any ideas?

Fixing unexpected low pool hashrate

The pool-side reported hashrate should be completely ignored. The pool reports may report a hashrate of "0", or of just a single GPU. Please use the pool-side effective hashrate to see your true hashrate for the entire rig.

I use the stock ethos eth miner software.

Switch to claymore, you will get better hashrate and more accurate pool reporting...

The way to do this is to edit config file and switch miner from default to claymore, and also edit claymore config file to point it to your pool and wallet...

If you need additional info I can help you...

I have folowed this how to and its mining the zcash now and all 5x RX480 cards are working.

http://ethosdistro.com/kb/#adding-claymore

However after 30minutes the cards start to crash one by one.....
30minutes 1x
50 minutes second etc...

After couple of hours it only hash using 2 cards.

I have 4GB ram, is it maybe to low?

This is my setup;
Ethos 1.1.9
5x 8192MB Sapphire Radeon RX 480 Nitro+ Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x16 1xDVI
ASRock H81 Pro BTC
Intel Celeron G1840 2x 2.80GHz So.1150 BOX
4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600

I have try different pci risers..
I have try to switch the slots / cards..
I have try connecting only 4 or 3 cards..

any help or suggestion is welcome Smiley

my ethos setting;

maxgputemp 98
stratumproxy enabled
proxywallet xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
proxypool1 eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333

flags --cl-global-work 16384 --farm-recheck 200

Those are crazy high temps in config if you ask me...

Maybe the gpu's are exceeding 98 degrees and then ethos will shut them off

Enter:

show stats

when that happens and paste its output here...

But really you should cool those cards better...

looks you have problem with 2 cards (05, 06 is not hashing). try change raisers, change pcie slots. it can be HW issue. 4GB ram is enough.
