Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

The blockchain itself is not being DDOS'd, it's the servers where we are hosting our nodes for https://login.lisk.io.

Why don't we use more nodes so they can't do much? Can we host it on sidechain already?

Yes, we have many nodes out there https://lisktools.io/pNodes.php . Sidechain is not ready yet.

yes, you can use public nodes from trusted delegates.

But the best is to install a lisk node on your own ubuntu desktop and run the wallet there...
so doing no problems will occur

It is simple:
open terminal, then copy and paste the following, then press enter
cd ~ && rm -rf installLisk*; wget https://downloads.lisk.io/lisk/main/installLisk.sh && bash installLisk.sh install -r main

then wait a bit for blockchain to load and run wallet locally with: http://localhost:8000

the node will run automatically at start, so when you need to make a tx, just open http://localhost:8000

Lisk testnet version 0.8.0b has been released. If you have a testnet node running, make sure to upgrade to the new version, it has some minor bug fixes.

Can someone please explain the Delegation & voting thing? I went through their website and subreddit, but i'm still left confused.
It's fairly easy... your account balance = your voting weight
300 lisk = 300 votes until your balance changes.
You can vote for 33 people at one time, up to 101 total, and your full weight is cast to all delegates you voted for
To forge a delegate must be at rank 101 or higher.

You should test it by voting for Phoenix1969  Tongue

Very interesting. So what do the delegates have the power to vote for? Can you briefly what forging a delegate means?

It is similar as bitcoin mining. Miners maintain Bitcoin blockchain and here delegates maintain Lisk blockchain. They both get reward for this.

I saw your msg now. It is bad to notice PM in BTT. Sry. communitypool pay twice a month, 15th and 30th/31th from address communitypool.info. It is rule from start. Read careful Proposal. Last payout done in 31th, March. Your address is 1128004867122839082L and weight at 31th March is 26,013.16 LSK. So you got 9.86131063 LSK for first payout. Tx here: https://explorer.lisk.io/tx/1275475412082348612. I also make Transparency report for every payout. Next payout will be 15th. Smiley

Yep, this is my weak announcement. But they are same name as communitypool/communitypool.info, so all can understand I think. Some other pools doing similar thing.

In Q1/Q2 should come rebranding, let's hope it goes faster.
And after version 1.0.0 the Devs want to work on the development of the new SDK.

Today all Altcoins in red, so no problem.
But hope that there will not be a dump like in the last months.

There will not be a sharp dump of Lisk and alts but they will slowly go down as far as btc moves up.

This is good time to buy at cheap price I am not confused to see little drop in value as usual it's happening with btc rally. I am buying while it is cheap at the moment lisk will start rising very soon.
