All blockchains do this when a transactions are broadcast.
For 10 cent you get thousands of nodes to record 33 of your votes on the blockchain within 10 seconds, and 101 of those get to split that 10 cent.
It's a bargain.

Check liskpool.xyz/list/ for  pool details. Then vote for active pool delegates for one month. You will see how much you will get. I got around 300 lsk last month for 20k weight. But I only vote for above 75%. You can earn more if you vote all.

It's fairly easy... your account balance = your voting weight
300 lisk = 300 votes until your balance changes.
You can vote for 33 people at one time, up to 101 total, and your full weight is cast to all delegates you voted for
To forge a delegate must be at rank 101 or higher.

Its vary with delegates to delegates, If the team of people for whom you are voting have other plans beside paying off their public then it may change drastically.

In this thread we mention DDOS attack on lisk.io a lot. Anyway isn't advantage of the blockchain that DDOS attack shouldn't do much if the lisk.io is hosted by few houndred delegates? I mean if we cannot prove the efficiencly but out main website then what is the point?! Or am I'm missing something here?

The DDoS attack is not aimed at Lisks blockchain, but at the websites, which are hosted traditionally. The network ist doing fine.

This makes me wonder: is webhosting using IPFS already a thing? I know SHIFT is working on something like that, but is the infrastructure there?

The blockchain itself is not being DDOS'd, it's the servers where we are hosting our nodes for https://login.lisk.io.

The DDoS attack is not aimed at Lisks blockchain, but at the websites, which are hosted traditionally. The network ist doing fine.
