Has anyone had any difficulty connecting tonight? I opened lisk hub and signed in and it just sits there doing nothing.
Tried the create new account and same.
Reboot PC and try again, same.

I figure it's either my internet connection / DNS issue or it's elsewhere and everyone is having issues.

Thanks,
Dave

The system is working for me without an issue. Hopefully you'll get online soon!

Still not stable for me @ home.
Dragged the PC to the office and it's fine.
So since everything else at home is fine and it's the same DNS servers. (8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1) it's something with my Verizon connection at home. Sad
I'll worry about it if the price goes up and I want to move some.

-Dave

Having the same problem again. Came back the beginning of May, now no connection.
This time I did a bit more research. Seems to be a Verizon FiOS issue. Works from office, works from cable, works being run off my T-Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot.
On my FiOS at my home and on the FiOS at my parents house no connection when running the Lisk Hub. Same laptop so I know that's not the issue.
All other wallets sync fine.

Anyone else in the downstate NY area on FiOS having an issue at this time (22-June-2019) connecting?

Thanks,
Dave

Is it important to have the coin in the core wallet and not in the Lisk Hub wallet?

Is anyone going to hold their Lisk in the Lisk Hub wallet during the soft fork?

I need an answer during the next several hours.

Thank you.

it's only a fork of the testnet, not of the mainnet. So no panic.

apart from that - your Lisk amount is stored directly at the Lisk blockchain/your address there. The wallet/hub is just the interface to access it there.

Thank you, but during certain kinds of token swaps, the wallet you hold a coin in can make a difference. In the recent Binance Swap holding your coin in certain wallets would not have worked, but holding it in the ATOMIC wallet would have worked in order to switch to the new coin.  Yes, I am aware that coins are held on the blockchain.

No probably you didn't understand how lisk works, your passphrase used to create a lisk address that become your wallet, is wallet independent, your passphrase is your private key, if you enter your passprahse in hub or in another wallet, you will find you coins.... you can change wallet as you wish, lisk wallet is a mere visualizer of your holdings, and give you the tools to transfer money, but there is no wallet.dat to use...

Hope now you understand.

hmmmm....not impressed...have had LISK since the ICO...

looking a lot like I may just dump, not really sure that a javascript coin for apps even makes sense anymore

with Bitcoin having atomic swaps now next release

I mean, who even does javascript anymore?

Will have to ponder this some

Oh, c`mon, in a year or two, maximum 3 and we will see a new version of the official site and an updated roadmap in which we will see the exact release date of the SDK alpha version. And then - beware and run, Ethereum. Beware and run...

The worst time to dump is during a bear market. All sorts of altcoins will probably start pumping next year as bitcoin heads to an ATH. Ir's what happened before bitcoin's last ATH.

True. I may wait. But I got into LISK on the ICO when each LISK was 25c USD.

Thus hard to be too burnt by moving on.

right now fence sitting on what to do Smiley

What's wrong with this  project?
Is any milestone in sight?
Any positive or interesting things, which will be important for the future?

Right now it looks like Lisk is just one of those typical overhyped projects from 2016, that will fail. Huh

They are working an a new wallet. When they release it after testing they will have reached a milestone.

yeah, endless redesigns and new background colors -> important milestones Tongue

atm they're hyping the awesome decentralized (Cheesy) Elite-cartel-exchange at r/Lisk and simultaneously mod away every slightest fart of criticism about it.
The whole thread is locked meanwhile. Guess LiskHQ is intermingled with this embarrassing cartel much more than expected.

Bitcoin forum is also fond of censorship. Unless you shill for these coins, you're spouting FUD. "Lisk, it's fallen in price, a chance to pick it up cheap - it'll skyrocket! OMG, this is a chance of a lifetime - buy! Buy! Buy! Hodl! To the moon! We'll all have lambos soon!"

Lisk is being renamed "TRIAD" in honour of its mentors, and the new logo is going to be a meat cleaver coming down on a human arm.  Sad

Java is a bad coding language, look at IOST a platform for javascript dapps but it lacks community support.

lol. can't be that bad if most devs are using it. javascript is the most used programming language on github.
