The Lisk project and it's enthusiasts are always busy, and this week past has certainly been no exception.
Seeing is believing, so here is a recap of the highlights and interesting items from the past week on the Lisk subreddit and beyond.....
Lisk Sidechain BrikBit's airdrop begins! BrikBit which will be the first Real Estate app on the Lisk platform. The project has decided to roll out 450,000 BRIK tokens in this Airdrop program for the first 10 thousand participants who join on Telegram, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and register on the BrikBit whitelisting website. Lisk delegates BLOQspace promoting the project in Australia! Those lively Lisk Delegates bloqspace.io have become the main sponsor of the CampJS Code Retreat on Australia's Gold Coast! They have done this on behalf of the Lisk community. The official CampJS schedule includes javascript talks and workshops, but attendees also take part in other activities like bushwalking, drone flying, and even knitting.
Lisk "Create the Future" video airs on US TV! Fox29 viewers in San Antonio, Texas got to see that the Lisk "Create the Future" promo video (

The video was shown as a commercial in the middle of the broadcast of a show called "Crypto Cafe". This promotional placement of the Lisk video has now been funded to air for the next eight weeks by those lively Lisk Delegates bloqspace.io (on behalf of the Lisk community).
Lisk featured on the Bloomberg news service! Bloomberg Bureau of National Affairs spoke recently to two members of the Lisk/Lightcurve team; Andries Bellemans, HR manager at Lightcurve, and Jacob Kowalewski, Education lead of Lisk Academy. Lisk to access the power of machine learning! A tool called GNY (

Richard, a representative of the project has been in touch with me and he said the team will be happy to go over any questions that may crop up from the Lisk community. DPRating have just released their Github Audit for 200 Blockchain projects for June 2018, and Lisk has performed really well by placing in fifth position. Projects were rated based on the popularity of their library, number of contributors, release frequency, number of commits, and commit type. Mat, our community manager, put together another comprehensive blog post to address the status of Lisk Core 1.0 and its imminent release. In this update we learned that there are just a few steps left that need to be taken in order to coordinate the impending migration.
