I have paticipated in the waves ICO long time ago.
I made a good profit with lisk Cool

I sold all my lisk at a good price and migrated to the waves platform.
The DEX involved in your wallet is a innovation and offer a great accommodation for especially new users!
waves is optimized for the main stream mass adoption imo.

companies already see the bright future of the waves ecosystem ahead and changing the chains:

https://twitter.com/blockscart/status/1019322166368665600

The redistribution has started, if the smart contracts go live on the main net, hundrets of projects will migrate to waves, the DEX volume will explode and attract huge attention because billions and billions will flow in the waves ecosystem in the next few years imo.
Best wishes!

Why lisk is bleeding day by day.  There is nothing happened after the relaunch. Everything is going delay.  Imvestors are loosing their hopes.

The problem is what's the REAL vision and roadmap of lisk?

the real problem is that nobody is using lisk. at the moment it is just a token that let delegates get more tokens.
without usage its worthless.

Any use cases coming for when v1.0.0 goes live? All it needs is a few applications running off it to start some momentum going

Lisk is still in the building phase and it is building an exciting project. It's value is in the team and what they are building.

I believe the press release I quoted jumped the gun on the announcement and the ICO info will be up on the MADANA site shortly, tuvok007

I found the original info at the below link.

https://forum.bitcoin.com/press/pr-lisk-based-data-analysis-blockchain-startup-madana-to-open-whitelist-sign-up-on-august-1st-t92546.html

Update from Madana now on their reddit account..... https://www.reddit.com/r/MADANA/comments/90et2g/your_projects_ico_whitelist_launch_got_a_mention/

investors need to look at the bigger picture then. How long did it take for online payments to become widely adopted? Or webshops? Or the internet for that matter? It takes time to change the world

And there is also much more resistance against the revolution than other online payment providers faced when they came up.

Hello everybody. The Lisk project and it's enthusiasts are always busy.

Seeing is believing, so here is a recap of the highlights and interesting items from the past week on the Lisk reddit sub and beyond.....

📌 Lisk featured on jaxenter.com! Lisk's very own Shusetsu Toda, Lisk Commander Lead, recently shared his thoughts to JAXenter on the ongoing importance of JavaScript and its role in the development of blockchain. You can read the full article here.... https://jaxenter.com/javascript-still-relevant-146968.html .

📌  Lisk sidechain project MADANA opens ICO whitelist! due to be one of the first major dApps to be built on a Lisk sidechain. This week MADANA, due to be one of the first major dApps to be built on a Lisk sidechain, announced their pre-ICO whitelist sign-up will officially take place on August 1, 2018. To watch an informational video regarding MADANA, or to sign-up for the ICO whitelist, visit.... https://www.madana.io/.

📌  Lisk is not a bubble, but Bitcoin is, claims blog post!  Didi Lace, entrepreneur and co-founder of the blockchain project MADANA is the author of the post that I'm sure will be deemed controversial by some folk. You can read Didi's theories on Lisk and Bitcoin in the piece "Beloved Bitcoin is a bubble. Why LISK is not!"....... https://blog.madana.io/beloved-bitcoin-is-a-bubble-why-lisk-is-not-fae010b12f63

📌  Lisk makes a splash at a pool party! Yep, a pool party with Lisk involved, and of course those lively Lisk Delegates bloqspace.io were behind it. It was based around a Crypto TV show that bloqspace are sponsoring. Images of the Lisk community booth and the pool party can be found https://twitter.com/BrikBit/status/1017643569434251265), and they are safe for work I promise. Wink

📌  Lisk USA hit double figures with their latest report!  /u/E_1-3-3-7 from our reddit community, and part of the Lisk USA delegate group released the 10th episode of The State of Lisk Report on www.liskusa.io. You can find it here.......http://www.liskusa.io/the-state-of-lisk-report-ep-10/ .  Among the latest news in this edition is the release of a new Lisk Academy video, the opening of the Elite Incubator, the new LightCurve hires and much, much more.

📌 Lisk represented on Libertarian Party blockchain panel! Edward Trosclair, Lisk USA’s founder, received an invitation by the Libertarian Party to their National Convention so he could not only speak in the main Panel Event about cryptocurrency, but to also to host two breakout sessions on related blockchain topics.  Take a look at the FULL blockchain panel video from Lisk USA here..... https://vimeo.com/279512979 , featuring Edward Trosclair AKA StellarDynamic.

📌  Lisk community group in Thailand learning more about the project each day! u/richykent is helping to facilitate a new group of Bangkok based blockchain enthusiasts learn all about the Lisk project. He said, "Starting with their first document, a translation of the lisk GitHub whitepaper. I'm going to be helping them plug into what Lisk is trying to achieve". A link to the document and further details can be found on richykent's reddit thread here......... https://www.reddit.com/r/Lisk/comments/8z9311/new_lisk_group_in_thailand_starting/ .

📌  Lisk news on new hires! Mat, our community manager from Lisk HQ has said there will be two new members joining the Lightcurve team in August. The roles these new people will take are number one, a community manager, and number two, a tech evangelist, who will focus on the community to begin with.

📌  Lisk Trading analyst said "Buy zone; 700% profit potential"! The following trading analysis from Shursst on tradingview.com included his comment, "Lisk is a perfect example of the market cycle we see all the time; this is definitely a buy zone". See the analysis here.......https://www.tradingview.com/chart/LSKUSD/oP8lWEud-LISK-Buy-zone-700-profit-potential/ , but remember it is not investment advice, just simply the opinion of one observer.

📌 Lisk videos around the world! Dutch Youtuber "Crypto Academy" released a new video titled "Crypto Trade of the Week: Lisk (LSK) Buy $5,90 CryptoAcademy". In it he explains his reasons why Lisk is currently a great buy. The video is in English and can be found here..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbIfB7Yis54 . Don't forget to give the the original poster a thumbs up.

📌  Lisk Hub development! We saw the release of Lisk Hub 1.0.0-rc.1 . Apart from eventually being the Hub that will tie in with the launch of the Lisk Core 1.0.0 on the mainnet, one of the main improvements contained within this release candidate version is the addition of support for a reference field in transactions. The Lisk Hub 1.0.0-rc.1 release notes can be found here..... https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk-hub/releases/tag/v1.0.0-rc.1 .

📌 Lisk continued its Core 1.0.0 development updates! HQ are getting closer and closer to the release of Lisk Core 1.0.0 to Mainnet, and the latest weekly development update arrived. You can read the latest weekly development update here..... https://blog.lisk.io/development-update-road-to-core-1-0-mainnet-july-19-2018-4b48c14e121c .

📌 Lisk A.I. sidechain tool's API connections completed! A registered delegate named GNYDEVS is currently involved in building a new A.I. sidechain tool for the Lisk ecosystem. Details have emerged that their developers have finishing working on the API connections to the machine learning plug-in, and that an official announcement will be made by end of next week, including a white paper, and videos from their offices in New York.

That's it for the roundup of the weeks highlights.

If you have tips on stories or videos related to Lisk, blockchain, Javascript etc. then send me a private message with your news on these bitcointalk forums or through the private message system on reddit.... https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=John_Muck and I will consider it for my daily post.

Keep the faith Liskers!

what do you think about this?

https://medium.com/adamant-im/fair-delegate-system-in-dpos-568e5c3c86c8

Quote
Vote weight = ADM / Votes,
Where Vote weight is the value of the wallet’s vote, ADM — the number of ADM tokens on this wallet, Votes — the number of votes of this wallet.
Suppose Bob has 100 coins, Alice has 80. Bob votes (delegates influence) for Bill and Helen, and Alice for Mark. Since Bob votes for two delegates, his vote is 100/2, that is, 50. Then Bill and Ellen have the following impact on the blockchain: 100/2 = 50, and Mark — 80. That is, Mark’s influence is greater than that of Bill and Helen. In the case of Lisk’s dPoS, Bill and Helen are more influential (100) than Mark (80), and that is unfair.

I'm pretty sure Ark uses the same way of calculating votes. I have no idea how well it works for them, though. But in theory, I think it is a good idea. Maybe I'm missing something critical, but it sounds like it solves at least some of the centralization problems.

Sounds promising, looks like there are some uses for Lisk in the pipeline - the incubator should really help get some things moving with the community

Any plans for another incubator in Europe or America?
