I was thinking about trying to sell one of my wallets, but now I'm wondering how it is possible... sure one can use escrow to sell the key, but you will still have the seed and with that seed won't you still have access even after selling the the key and seed??? I'm curious because if it is possible I'd be interested in selling one of my wallets with ~14000 LISK in it before the release (let me know in PM if you are interested and know a safe way).

You know, I posted about that possibility earlier in the XCR thread (as a joke)... when someone posted that Bter had blockchain issues and was just trying to fix it now... 2 hrs before the ICO ended... when for weeks they wouldn't fill up their hot wallet. Evidently they actually did try to cash out their entire coldwallet for Lisk... amazing. I expect they'll try to say they had withdraw issues or something, so sent the entire cold wallet (somehow)... and then try to match valid withdrawals? But how can anyone know which are even on the level at this point?

You can use the devs as escrow. A lot of people still dont generate the keys so you can send a PM asking for devs to change your keys to new ones for a third person.

FACT: The coin price of largest ICOs has dropped by 60% on average upon launch on exchanges.
Conclusion: Skip buying on Lisk ICO and buy cheap Lisk after it launches on exchanges in next 2 to 3 weeks
EDIT: My conclusion is FLAWED because coins of all largest ICOs did not launch until few months to a year after the end of their ICO's.
Given that Lisk will be launching in just 3 weeks after ICO and that Lisk has already been in development for the past 2 years, I don't anticipate much (if any) drop in price upon launch.I suggest to have plenty of BTC ready at the exchanges to buy more Lisk once it launches, before it rises above $3 to $5.

I know this probably isn't possible, but is it possible to distribute the LISK that BTER falsely invested into the real XCR shareholders. ;-)

I concur. I would really rather see this returned to the Bter cold wallet and have Lin move everything in the cold wallet over to the Bter hot wallet, allow account holders to withdraw their funds, and allow them to still convert to Lisk. I have been watching the Bter cold wallet several times a day to see if the funds moved, and expected it might move at the last minute to allow withdrawals. It was a surprise to see Lin show up an hour and a half before the ICO end on Rocket to say he wanted to "manually process withdrawals" for Bter account holders. Right! Bter is showing classic signs of insolvency and I recommend withdrawing any funds held there. For reference, the last time I made this recommendation about an exchange was last July, regarding Cryptsy: I sent an email directly to him as well and also haven't heard anything, but I'll watch out for him today and see if I can talk to him via the trollbox.
I still don't think Cryptsy is going anywhere, but the number of down wallets sure makes me wonder WTF is going on.
Thanks. I haven't received any answer yet as well. I would be careful of Cryptsy at that point. Cryptsy shows all of the classic signs of being insolvent. I recommend withdrawing any funds from there immediately.

I really wonder how Bter plans to play this. They must have known that the Lisk devs could figure out it was from the cold wallet. And in the XCR thread they stated they will try to get people who tried to withdraw their Lisk, somehow. So what I expect they'll try to do is link withdraw attempts on record with an equivalent amount of Lisk. But even that is incredibly shady (and like impossible to verify), because for weeks Bter purposely kept their hot wallets empty. Resulting in everyone basically dumping XCR at cheap prices, just to get whatever BTC they could, so they could leave the exchange. Now if I was an evil Bter person (or persons), I'd buy up that cheap XCR, and then withdraw/convert for myself at the last minute... which is exactly as this seems to have played out.

Wow....what kind of a group of people do they have running things over there anyway? How in the world do they think that that's okay??? That's a shady crowd there for sure! Can confirm, I tried to withdraw XCR from BTER to divert to LISK ICO. Initially transaction was on hold for 4 days. When it went through it went through with fake TxID, does not show up on blockchain explorer, does not show up in wallet. Now that ICO is finished, support is contacting me asking me to send them my "blockchain.db" file. As far as I am concerned BTER stole from me and it seems that they have invested my funds in the ICO.

You're stupid as fuck if you think your posts convince anyone in anything. They were meaningless before as they are now as they will always be. You'd better save your time and do some self education.
