I use paper wallets to store my bitcoins... i have around 7 -10 wallets now, I use multiple just to make sure the others are safe when one wallet is hacked. I don't have much coins though, but that's the safest way i could think of right now to keep them safe.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I need to do the same, your method is much more secure. I am thinking about ding it, but I am lazy. Currently I have little in Coinbase, little in Electrum, and some in btcjam. I stop loan out bitcoin in btcjam any more. I don't have much myself.

Yeah paper and hardware wallet are good option to store your bitcoins. Because nowadays scamming is increased more number in online work and business. Sure people will attack your online to scratch the bitcoin.

Having too many paper wallets might pose an operational risk. The risk is that you might lose some of them or even forget about those that have too few BTC. If your private key generation method is solid there is really no point in having more keys than necessary. On the other hand if you generate private keys using a silly method (like using quotes Shakespeare) then all your keys are susceptible to hacking no matter how many you have.

I always use my blockchain web wallet to store bitcoins. Also i have one paper wallet to which I rarely sometimes part of bitcoins earned through whatever way(gambling, sig. campaign etc).Paper wallet at the moment is the best way  to store bitcoins.

Yeah exactly,I was also thinking to make multiple paperwallets but decided to keep only one due to above things as mentioned by soros.

I use offline wallet on protected USB stick with linux OS.
Do you make backups of that stick? I recently had to replace a 3 year old good-brand stick, because it simply stopped working. This stick contained movies, if it was bitcoin it could have been an expensive loss.

I always have multiple copies of the bitcoin in many places. I will not store it in a single place. Too risky.

Exactly, there is too much malware circulating around to be uncautious.

I already got a few of my accounts hacked a few months back, dont want the same to happen to BTC

I store my bitcoin in a wallet, this is the safest way of course, I also use multiple wallets to be more secured and not get a target of hackers.
If you really want to be secured use a paper wallet or a cold storage so you cannot get hacked by someone in most cases.
I also store my bitcoin in a wallet, I only use online wallets, this is because of the the amount I have in my wallet.
I only got low amounts in my online wallets so I will not get targeted by hackers.

I still want to make paper wallets, and I was thinking of keeping a PDF as a backup, of course with a decent GPG-password, and still in an offline location.
One thing I only recently realized is that a paper wallet needs to be spend at once, as it's unclear where the change would go to. And after using it, it's no longer considered cold storage, as the private key has been used, so you need to make a new one.
For this reason it is useful to make several paper wallets, so you only use the amount you need and leave the rest untouched.

I have two wallets, one is my bitcoin core wallet and the other one is the online exchange wallet, I usually put everything on my core wallet and just send it to my exchange wallet when needed, just to make sure that it is safe... I always make a back up of my wallet.dat when an incoming payment was received... and I make sure that my personal computer that I use as a wallet, is always away from internet, I just plugged it in when I need to update.. that's how i keep my coins..

i think the best way to store bitcoin is to split them on different wallets to protect them from getting all stallen or have any other promblem this way you would minimize your losses if you encounter one

Right now, all my coins are on Electrum, they aren't that many that I need to put them on cold storage but when I do, I plan to buy a hardware wallet this time, just checked out coolwallet and it does looks cool, though a little costly, as them all.

Bad idea. Just pray that the exchange doesn't decides to get hacked all of sudden.

I store my bitcoins in a wallet online, I think its the best way to store them but of course only with low amounts you should online store it.
If you got a lot of bitcoins you should get a paper wallet for better security reasons.

My Bitcoins are stored at a online wallets. It is very good to use. And I like it to use. It is very easy to use.

But some people also store them on their own computer, because they think online wallets are not so very secure.
