By the way can anyone tell Cold storage is better than paper wallet. or both are equal in terms of security ?
I store my Bitcoin at online wallets. I like that and that is very nice to work. I hope more people will use it later. I think it is very good if you use it.

But maybe you like to store on your own computer.

Maybe it's not, its more risky that the online wallet steals the btc than your pc to get virus, if you are disciplined.

You can also get a hardware wallet if you dont trust your PC.

ok i agree with you. But i think we should keep in both online and cold wallets.
The reason being we can use online wallets to make transcations freqently and cold wallets for saving
bitcoins.

i use cold storage in form of paper wallet to store most of bitcoins for long term holding and the rest small amounts are in my online (web) wallet called blockchain.info

ditto.....paper wallets in a bank vault safety deposit box..

I figure if the bank burns down or gets hit by a meteorite ..then the ASIC Gods hate me so I was screwed from the get go Smiley

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

I work with small amounts so I keep on the exchange. Doesn't worth the time to keep my own wallet.

online wallets are best if you want to send / receive often. Blockchain is the best i guess. On the other hand you can keep your savings bitcoins in cold storage as it is most secure.
I secure my bitcoins in both was but earlier started with cold storage but now prefer to use Block chain since it is quite safer and good to use when we need our bit coin profitability.

I will do the same. I keep a few bitcoin worth of coins in the exchanges. I use that to trade with altcoins.

For the ultimate security, I recommend following these simple Australian steps;

5. watch for a suitably sized crocodile or shark as they approach the chum
6. roll up priv key paper and clench between your teeth
7. launch yourself at the target creature, shark or crocodile, when it reaches a position you are confident in tackling
8. wrestle shark and/or crocodile (yes, in the tropics you may have both at the same time)
9. upon achieving a suitable clench, remove priv key from your mouth and with some vigour, ram it up the beasts butt hole
10. disengage from the target whilst avoiding becoming lunch.

speaking as someone in the medical field  Tongue Roll Eyes Wink

you realize the target biological will crap it out some place where people will find it.  lulz

oh i have a trenzor. and paper wallets.  easier, safer, much more available to folks. heh

I like to store my bitcoins in blockchain digital wallet where the money is safe and I find it the easiest way to store the bitcoins in my laptop.
and I like to store some of my bitcoins in the signature campaign where I do online trading too.

I store it right now in Vaultoro or Coinbase. Mainly Coinbase. I'll probably start to use the vault function soon in the future though.

You can store all your bitcoins in an online wallet such as yobit or coinbase and they are both very resourceful

Indeed I store my Bitcoins too at an online wallet. I find it so good and it is easy to work, so why not.
Some people dont trust the online wallets, because they say they can be hacked. But it is very secure I think.

Is it really that secure? Afterall, you entrust your money to anonymous person on the intertnet. Also 'hacking' sometimes could mean, that site owner run away with your money and blame it on the "hackers" Wink

My only advice would be to never store them in online wallets...

1 BTC = 1 BTC
