Bitcoin is an extremely useful payment system for both illegal and legal activities. It's like cash, and just because lot of drug dealers using cash, the government will hopefully not ban it.

Correct both bitcoin and cash is being used on illegal things and anything does have value people would really use it no matter what and thats why some country does ban bitcoin because of this matter which is being used by illegal activities.

They ban bitcoin in their country  as they don't really know the advantages bitcoin. All they know is the disadvantages of it, though all kind of currency including their local currency can be used in illegal activities too.

Many people have lost their money and Bitcoin there so the Government have to forbid Bitcoin temporally to protect people. However, there are some countries banning Bitcoin for no reason. I don't see how it would be possible for the government to regulate bitcoins. China doesn't allow bitcoins, but there Internet blocker doesn't stop bitcoins from being sent around and China certainly mines a lot of coins.

because bitcoin is not bound by the tax. so that criminals are free to use it. need a statutory body which regulates this. If left unchecked, this situation will be difficult to overcome.

I agree, criminals would take the advantage of the features of bitcoin. They won't be easily track by authorities. Rather than using fiat, they use bitcoin because they can buy freely over the internet not knowing their identities. They are much safer than using fiat.

Yes. We cannot control how people use bitcoin, it's the same as fiat money... you can do/buy whatever you want with it. But it's always a good practice to stay away from any illegal practices to avoid getting caught and be imprisoned.

The problem is when you're a drug addict, you wouldn't realize that something's bad is happening to your body. Even if you do realize something's bad is happening, you would most probably just ignore it and carry on to your normal day doing drugs. This is especially true to places where the government doesn't do that much actions about drug abusers. In addition, drug addicts know since from the start that something bad will happen to them sooner or later. They've already accepted it.

I think they are using fake identity instead of they are doing illegal even in fiat. bitcoin is less hassle because they can use it without giving to much personal information it can be easy to use bitcoin in illegal activities but they are just both fiat and bitcoin are doing illegal..
They are also just directly paying with their private transport to receive the illegal weapons and drugs because if they are using only bitcoin they can be much possible to be scam if they will buy a weapon or any illegal in darkweb.. so i think we can not consider bitcoin that they are using to buy illegal activities like drugs and weapon. because if they will pay in bitcoin in darkweb its too risky so meetup is best possible they will doing to trade. than buying it with bitcoin since bitcoin has no reverse payment..

The thing you have mentioned about gambling, is it illegal to do gambling in your country? Or else that is just a normal way to work for your bitcoins and to have some fun with it. Also it is going to depend on how you are going to look for those illegal things and use your bitcoin with it. But I say, it is better to stay away from those activities.
