Wtf this coin alive, the good news is i lost my jd account
btw sup andu, been long time
If you have claimed then your darkclams should still be in your XCP wallet.
If you want to recover your JD account you should contact dooglus, just use doog.justdice@gmail.com.
and well, the things are going, slowly, but going.

Hey guys, I'm bumping to let you all know we still need developers, there is still a fund of 300.000 DarkClam's and I just updated the main post.
We need to launch a simple wallet as soon as possible and then while (atleast) slowly the project takes form we can decide and ponder how things should be done and if anything needs to be changed.
That way we have a base which we can develop and at the same time the project can be perfectionated.

Suggestions and observations are very welcome.

I'm sorry, I'm out of this project. I thought I could do it, but not enough time, because too many other projects and personal things. I gave all my darkclam to andu, other programmers can take over now.

Okay, we are going to launch a clone of CLAM as soon as possible, after we are on chain and we get on an exchange and some service gets up  the developer fund will be expected to fund for further developement of the project, we will take advantage of "clamour" for voting what's next.

But if you lost your Counterparty account and you can prove that you own the JustDice account, we can transfer it manually, too (if the Counterparty asset for this associated JustDice account was not already sold of course).

That's really great Marilyn. Thank you very much for the work you're doing.

we must be thankfull for all who gives better understanding to us for a great work.

So, a couple of people have contacted me about helping to put something together for this coin or buy up another large chunk of darkclam from other holders. First, I don't want to disrespect any of the hard work that andu has done for the coin or past developers.  Second, there are a couple of things in the darkclam whitepaper (such as the ethereum vm base to run the coin) that I don't really like, but that's just a personal belief that I have, so it would be difficult for me to contribute effort on the platform. If I did build a coin, it would be a pow/pos combination and wouldn't be built on ethereum.

Anyway, A couple of people have asked if I'd include darkclam in the game I'm developing (spacepirate). At this point, the game is built with bitcoin, but takes other coins via shapeshift. I know darkclam isn't on shapeshift or near that area of growth yet, but that's one future possible outcome. The other possible outcome, would be a co-operative investment, where any dark clam you own would be burned for an investment % stake in spacepirate. I'm leaning towards the latter, and I'd also burn the 150k dark clam I own and donate the % to a charity or an organization.

Anyway, I wanted to share these thoughts and feedback towards those who have reached out.

The first project, the one that Daxxog was around and is in the whitepaper is not our goal anymore, neither the one I ideated with googleplex eventho some ideas from that one will be mentioned in a future. The last one, the one marilyn published won't be either our plan yet we will extract some things from there, everything depending of what people wants.

We are going to launch a simple CLAM clone and take it from there, it will be fairly easier in my opinion.

Why launching a CLAM clone? The clamour voting system is expected to be pretty useful to determine what we really want.

About the distribution method, uncertain how many choices are out there but I thought about using BTC addresses, that way we wouldn't need to do much but to fund the addresses respectively which makes it easier for people aswell I think.

I will contact you so we clarify a bit.

Thoughts are always appreciated, thank you for being here.

We have a clone made-ish and cross-compiling is slowly being done at the moment, I have no idea of a specific date but it seems fairly soon to me.

So your starting from scratch now with a clam clone? What happens to the distributed darkclams in our counterwallet? Or will the distribution will be done again?

A lot of people I think have already lost acces to their counterwallet, so I hope for new distribution. Smiley

Whatever funds people have on XCP will be "moved" to our own chain, im gathering people with lost addresses, found 3 atm. If you lost them aswell contact me with your mail on a pm and i will add you to slack for easier communication.
Edit: And yes kinda starting from scratch, however all ideas and plans will be carefully selected and adapted as we can.
Also, I did think about making the vote again about continuing the distribution, it's going to be so easy thanks to clamour.

Luckily I still have acces to my counterwallet, but I wagered a lot more on JD since last distribution so was kinda hoping for the continuing distribution. Will vote for that for sure.  Smiley

How are things going?
We are on the verge of being on chain, I have a while waiting for the developer to give me everything so I expect it soon, time keeps passing and it's so frustrating but slowly we getting there.
After we start having a bit of activity it should be easier to find more developers willing to contribute.

Lol, just clam...
Kind of, the distribution CLAM had is a bit more complex than ours.
We took advantage of having the tokens on XCP so we re-created the supply on our own chain and we use bitcoin addresses so we know who are the holders and their respective balance.
I feel like I'm repeating myself....
I will get back/update after I rest a bit and get things straight.
