I haven't tried this yet but it looks nice, this is like the old school pen and paper rpgs?
About rubies price I agree too I think this is probably one of the most undervalued coins out. There are whales in this coin I think but none seem to be actively buying lately.
I'm not really sure what to describe the game as. I guess it would fit into a type of MUD game of sorts. I haven't had the chance to personally play it yet but will give it a go shortly. |

Remember when we all voted for rbies on bittrex and the dev team spoke to bittrex. They said to get rubies on bittrex would cost 5k usd and then it would most likely need to be licensed to play in the states so bittrex would allow it on their exchange. For those who don't remember just read slack. Anyway before they delete it I found this little lie exposed on the breakout thread. just curious about BRK coin and BRK chips convertion ,
i saw in breakout poker software using BRK chips not coin ,
is it 1:1 , or 1:... ?
Chips is just play money but you can use it to enter BRK coin tournaments to win real BRK coins. i'm not talking about now , and i'm not talking about practice chips (play money) i'm talking about later when ico is finished and poker software is ready to accept BRK deposit and ring games is open, Oh I see. Afaik the software will use BRK coin directly and not the chips currency that is used in the play money client. When real money opens there will be another client download required to play for real money and it will use BRK coin. This is how I have understood things. Today I decide to use my entire Yobit balance to hold/trade Rubies. Lots of people here emphasize how staking is important, but I expect that volatility will be very high and if you want to buy low and sell high, you may not have time to trade 'em if you always have to transfer your Rubies from wallet to exchange, and back again. Not to mention withdrawal fees. So I'm thinking I just keep mine on the exchange. I take on exchange risk, and forego my stake earnings of ~5% per annum. On the flipside I think I'll make more than 5% trading them ... and as for exchange risk, well what is one to do? Lol ...

If you are good at trading also with the help of a bit of luck and good timing you can make way more that 5% yearly for sure...agree on this. But in my experience with rubies til now transactionshave been almost istant and confirmations required up to a couple of minutes (never more). Also transaction fees are usually really low (fraction of a rubie). So am acting the opposite of what you just decided: negative factors (transactions time and fees) are not so negative to convince me to bear exchange default risk. On a side note: letting my wallet open help rubies network ( am a rubies hodler lol) not to mention the tiny sensation of satisfaction I feel every time my wallet receive a staking reward  |

I have some Rubies on Yobit, and was just looking for how to transfer them to BetterBets to try that skill-based game 'CORE' ... but I don't see a means to deposit Rubies.
I guess its early days and you are not set up to receive RBIES deposits? I'm also guessing this has already been discussed on this board ...but it is sooo long so forgive me for not trying to find this topic in the thread. Anyway, I might still be the only guy buying his Rubies on Yobit and transferring them in ... lol, I need a life.

Ok thanks, it worked. I'm gonna have some fun with C.O.R.E ... see how it goes. I've played on many other Moneypot apps, but don't think I've played on BetterBets. I think the main reason is that the home page is just so busy - a bit overwhelming at first glance. That is probably not bad, as many gamblers like all the flashing bells and whistles. Any walk through a casino's slot room is evidence enough. Anyway, we'll see how my 'skill' stacks up ... lol. Edit: Well, first I didn't transfer in enough Rubies to 'buy in' to C.O.R.E. (Minimum is 25.) And with only 2.25 hrs left in the day I would be the only player ... which means I would win 80% of my own money, and give 20% to the house. Hmmm ... |

Rubies has benefited from increased altcoin trading due to recent ICOs, a lot. There are huge margins for Rubies on Yobit and enough volume to hop from one side to another. You need to know when to be active and when to lessen up on the trading, but there is definitely money to be made. |

I've done alright trading small lots, buying low and selling high. I doubt this can scale, however, unless there is some real take-up of this coin, and broadening of the user base. Right now I suspect that BetterBets (BB) has been doing some program trading at intervals to support the coin/price. Maybe they are parlaying their casino winnings into the coin, which is an interesting strategy and would make some sense. But we might see them alter/curtail that program at some point in the future ... I'm still trading, we'll see how it goes. |

You are correct right now we are discussing options to bring increased trading opportunity into Rubies, more details to come once final decisions have been made. We will take great risks if needed to broaden this currency's user base and increase renewed investment opportunity. |
