I buy because it is the time to buy and what I have bought will be intended for my long term investment. I know this a gamble because I might lose my investment as there is no assurance for the future of bitcoin but I believe in bitcoin so I am taking the risk and think about the possible outcome later.

I bought 2 bitcoins before the halving, thinking the price will increase and i will sell at a profit. But unfortunate the price did not increase as much as everyone anticipated. |

most of the time i also hold all of my bitcoins, i dont even do any trading because i know that it make me lose a lot of money if i do wrong decisions But I think that will not help you in growing your coins, there will be a day when you should try to earn more money by trying new things, sometimes its good to take risks. |

I agree with you that holding bitcoin is much more better than spending because the price of bitcoin surely going to rise up its price to higher, and i am sure we will be get a big profit in near future from bitcoin so it is good to save your bitcoin in wallet for future. It is both better but it should be balance, the world is not a wonderful place if we are all holding and not spending, with spending we need to spend only on things that we really need and the remaining amount of money should be save and invest for longer, and that will be hold for a long period of time. |

There is more than one reason to buy bitcoins, i like to buy them as investment (you can say speculation) i think that bitcoin price could double its value in few years. You can transfer your money (bitcoins) from one country to another with very small fees. And because i don't like banks, and bitcoin can fight against the bank system.
you invest into the bitcoin not just for the fun if you are investing into something you hope that you will make allot of money with it not just investing for holding the same value. You will make money and off course with bitcoins you will make allot of money if you are doing it great, |

What is/are your purposes when yu buy bitcoin?
i do buy bitcoin not on dark web, but here in our local market because we do deposit our money or we can now buy bitcoin in our local market in just a minute less hassle because our bitcoin wallet is partnered in some store where we can buy bitcoin 7/11 is one of the most one where we can buy bitcoin |

just like most of the people i also buy bitcoin for making money, as most of the people are buying bitcoin for price increase only because they have very limited opportunities to buy it, while other people are buying bitcoin for making money as well as for using it for buying and selling things directly from local markets as well as buying online. |

I'm using btc mostly to trade. If I get my bitcoin save, and hold until the high price to sell, it may be a good step. In practice it is not so easy, though.

But if you are into trading then why you need to buy it first? You need to buy it only once and if you trade smartly then you don't have to buy it again as trading will directly give you bitcoins in your wallet in terms of profits. The principle in trading will always apply, you buy low and sell high so if you cannot do that they simply trading is not good for you. You might have to focus on different forms of investment that does not need a lot skills in analyzing. |
