your question is stupid. You should count in satoshis not in USD.

edit : a usd price increase doesnt mean XVG is increasing. it could mean BTC is pumping

I think you need to do your homework before calling anyone else stupid. The fact that you can trade USD for XVG on hit-btc just shows how stupid you are.

Sorry for my ignorance, in fact, i'm perhaps stupid because i don't talk about trading in btc but i bought hundreds of thousands XVG when BTC price was at 800$ for me the real things is to make good profit but you're right for sure i'm not a expert that's why i'm asking some questions about it!

There are dev interviews and people making videos on YT.
What I do know is I expected .01 - almost happened, but then the wraith upgrade was
delayed. Also, this is the third time XVG has been to $.008+ , this time was .00978, since
I have been holding. I always think its going to hold, but has not yet. I have regretted 3
times now not selling with the pumper traders and buying back more low. I just don't want
to risk loosing the leverage I have if it ever runs up and holds. HODL and patience. This
guy Haejin Lee put out an Elliot Wave chart he says XVG to $.06 in Jan 2018 and $.50 by
July! He says the number of coins does not matter - only if people feel like buying it or not.

Elliot waves are tricky - getting the wave count right - can be done most accurately after! -

If it were me I would resell all of it to be honest, I think the price is destined for a dip again after this meteoric rise. At least sell some of it so you're always in profit, say maybe $2k worth. It also depends on the rest of your portfolio, or if there is a rest.

When did I ever mention anything about bitcoin? Verge will never reach the heights that bitcoin has and it was my belief that it pumped too much too quick. I think almost all alts are due for a correction soon. If it doesn't drop then you admit you got it wrong and you try figure out why and then you try again in the future. No one gets it right all the time. We've see over 20 percent swings all of the last days so it was a great opportunity to sell and buy back cheaper, as has been the case with nearly all coins the last days as volatility has been rife.

Exactly what I did. Sold 50% of my verges at ~370 sats and now I'm just waiting for the dip. Made a lot of profit already, but I still believe in the Verge project, and that it will rise. Will have to see though, as the Development team keeps quiet about their future releases or plans. I'm not here to mock, but it doesn't give a good impression when you don't meet your deadlines and neglect the "huge" release dates.

I sold all of mine at 380 and waiting for the dip. Hope I did not make a strategic mistake. Normally a big dip after these runups.

According to coinmarketcap the total supply (total amount of coins) for Verge is 16,555,000,000.

If one single coin would be worth $100, then the market cap (sum of the worth of all coins) would be

$100 x 16,555,000,000 = $1,655,500,000,000 (1.655 trillion Dollar!)

Current marketcap of Bitcoin = $278,884,893,714 (0.278 trillion Dollar)

I don't think that $100 will happen soon.

Agree with you, for now it looks like pump, that's why I sold the most part and waiting for the dump to buy some again) anyway Verge might be great and valuable in future...but I don't understand people who run into it right now...
