Haha on Pornhub, but a serious haha... now I'm guilty of buying into Verge during the post FOMO phase. I luckily managed not to get in at 700 or even 400, but at a lower price. Still actually have to weather this general blitz across alts. Can't say I was pleased that all these rumors and secret news came out after I bought it. Never liked the attachment to Mcafee, but I was sure there was good money to be made short term.

What I don't understand is, why the official wallets aren't using the Wraith protocol?

With the official wallet this "private coin" isn't really private, the ledger is public and all transactions can be tracked.
Is it just the Tor IP?

I mean, I can fire a VPN with literally any coin I use.

I believe this coin will keep living even after very long time in development. It is one of the best anon altcoins in the market. My only concern is its' cap. Too high to hold for short term investors. But still I plan to buy this one coin.

Verge got hit by a sever 51% attack; while Dev team brushed it aside as minor.

Verge, a ”privacy coin” famed for the zealotry of its community, has fallen prey to a 51% attack. A malevolent miner gained majority control of the network hashrate, a feat that makes it possible for the controlling entity to modify transactions, calling the integrity of the entire blockchain into question. Around 250,000 verge were stolen by the attacker, forcing the project team to prepare a hard fork.

Apparently you can download the Wraith wallet from their github so you shouldn't be able to see who sends XVG to whom with the stealth addresses.
