I don't know how I was able to curbed my gambling addiction but it will always begin with something with your family. I think its more of my family involvement that really made me quit gambling for good. Well I still gamble but not like I used to before. I was always in a land based casino and every though I have work back then, I will sometimes make excuses from my office and then I will go directly to a casino. But when I quit and focus on my family and business, I lost my appetite on gambling and would just focus on it. Then I slowly forgot about gambling and its like a total shutdown of my mind and body about it. Its been more than 2 years now though I stil play, once every month just for fun only.

I think that would be too hassle on finding such group, you could help yourself on that, you just have to be determined on quitting it for the sake of yourself or else you know what is going to happen to you in the future. First of all let me correct you here on a saying that gambling is profitable. Gambling never ever is profitable and you will get to know this thing when you yourself will become a gambler. In my point of view, diverting to something  will help you to a lot quit gambling. Based on my experience  but not as a gambler but a dancer, I divert my attention into reading wattpads or anything  that has no related to dancing.
