Mojo is proud to be associated with Rokos OS which we see as the first step towards an integration and use of Mojo in the Internet of Things.
We will therefore offer two winners a Raspbeey Pi3 w/ Rokos OS installed. This will be shipped when the new version of Rokos OS is ready.

Mojo will be a multipurpose cryptocurrency, functioning both as digital money and as control mechanism for IoT.
Building clever blockchain services can be done independently of the currency itself.
The living blockchain will provide the foundation and security for a series of blockchain linked apps.

What you need to enter the competition:
1. Register your e-mail and the Mojocoin address you registered for in the ICO.
2. You will need to register for the ICO at our website and make an investment of at least 0.01 BTC and enter the same e-mail address when you register.
3. If you have already made an investment of 0.01 BTC or more and have not left your e-mail, you may still enter but please contact us.

Entries closed on Wednesday 16/03/2016 at 2200 hours (GMT, London)

Draw on Sunday 21/03/2016

have you considered adding this to the azure platform .. seems like the hip thing to do these days Smiley

I am aware, I am just very busy and I haven't got around to read up on it yet. There are many things to do to get this off the ground first. We are working on a new wallet release that we hope will be out soon and before the end of the ICO. I will get around to have a look at Azure...

We are well underway with the Tor implementation and we have modified the design such that Tor has been built into the codebase and you can choose whether run the wallet with Tor or without. We have decided on this hybrid design to get the best of both and to ensure a smooth transition to a 'Tor only' network. We are also determined to provide a smooth user experience to non-technical users and we are working towards a 'command line free' wallet. We believe this is unique and will enable non-technical users to use Mojocoin in confidence and be able to see via a wallet icon if Tor is connected or not.

Stealth addresses and libsecp256k1 will also be available in the next version of the wallet.

(1) Tor implementation and addition to Mojocoin codebase has been done - https://github.com/stormbitz/mojocoin/network
(2) We are working on building better threading support for the Tor implementation
(3) We are working on an updated node discovery system
(4) libsecp256k1 implementation pending
(5) Native stealth addresses pending

The above code upgrades will make the network more responsive and make it easier to use Mojocoin both with and without Tor.

We are hoping that we will have the next version of the software out by next Friday 25/03/2016 so that the network is fully ready for the distribution phase and the extra load that will put on the network. There will be no further Tech. updates until next Friday.

We will then also publish the final and detailed roadmap for 2016.

In the meantime, thank you for your support and together we can build the most secure and best cryptocurrency of 2016

In my opinion 500k would be to many coins for a masternode that would mean you can only have a maximum of 200 masternodes , dashcoin/darkcoin picked a low number like 1k so they can have a extremely large number of masternodes, cause each masternode helps protect and secure the network, And that's the entire goal
of running a masternode isn't it? I think 50k would be a good number for a masternode that gives you at least 2000 masternodes and gives more people the option to run a masternode instead of 100-200 people..

Yes, the idea is to have enough nodes running to secure the network and so nodes that run 24/7 should be rewarded more than nodes that only stake for a few hours every week. I do think that you should have to make an investment in a mastenode and that the price of getting a masternode should be high so that once you have the masternode you will want to run it for a long time. If anyone can just get a masternode for no investment then there is no real incentive to stake for a long time. If it't too easy to get one, then the staker will just jump onto the next coin when this appears to offer a higher reward.

agreed, current ico price is what 49 sats per coin? At 50k you'd only need about 0.025 btc which is too little imo, even if the ico price triples.

I don't think we need to set it more than 50K.

If we set it too high, there will end up to have only a few masternodes, and the network will become very centralized.

That will also be bad for attracting more new people to join the MOJO network.

You are right in both, I was just about to post, although the number of coins is less they are worth more and the price 'floor' is higher so I suspect that will mean a better ROI if you wish to sell at some point.

Yes, please generate a new BTC address for every deposit and use the same MOJO address and we will consolidate the payments out. The script only reads the first BTC address for each MOJO address, so if you use the same BTC address that will work, it's just that I have to go into the database and update manually.

MOJO  Will be the same as BITZ

I'm sorry I still don't quite get it but I will try to answer. No, MOJO will not be the same as BITZ.

MOJO is now working towards very strong privacy features to keep your transactions private and MOJO is then looking to get onto mobile platforms. We are then seeking to build some apps using the MOJO blockchain.
BITZ at the moment is in the hands of a few and it is difficult to use BITZ for what it was initially intended. This is part of the reason why there are more MOJO, 100mill and a different distribution method. BITZ is still very much alive and well however and once the initial phases of MOJO has been completed we will do some work on BITZ again.

Users are also rewarded for running and maintaining special servers called masternodes.
Thanks to this innovative two tier network, can offer innovative features in a trustless and decentralized way.
Masternodes primary function is to carry out the anonymization phase of the send protocol and to validate transactions almost instantly. In the future, there will be more services performed by the masternodes network.
In return for providing this services, one masternode is selected by the network to receive a part of the reward of each mined block.

Version 1.0.0.2 w/ native selectable Tor implementation - WARNING! - this is a test release and not the final version

Windows-qt (v1.0.0.2)
Mac-qt (v1.0.0.2)

We have released a test version of the Tor implementation and we have two new nodes running, one hybrid Tor/clear and one Tor only so the wallets are fully operational and running through Tor.

You can select to run through Tor in 'Preferences' and the 'network' tab....

I would appreciate if people would test and feed back on any issues....

This is only the first step towards an ultra-secure and private Mojocoin network

Please follow the roadmap on Trello: https://trello.com/b/fW9YORq7/roadmap

This seems like a better option as we can update as we go along and things change...
