In reality all the coins and the entire market has been falling since last January, and many coins have reached and updated their own minimum in these days.

If there are no major updates or news, algorithm changes, improvements on the rewards of the masternodes, introduction of a reward with Pos, etc. then Bitsend will normally follow the market and Bitcoin, like all the coins.

In this moment it is better to take cheap coins and maybe try to build your masternode.

Most coins do not have a fiat trading pair or a stable coin pair such as Tether for that matter. I think all of these problems will only really be solved when there is a DEX with high volume.

Alts are basically leveraged btc. Just like shitty currencies of shitty countries are leveraged USD's.

Just like Doge and BTC both are cryptos, USD and Argentinian Peso are FIAT currencies. Just like doge can do worse than bitcoin just because it is a joke coin while bitcoin is stable, Argentinian Peso or Venezuelan Bolivar can do worse than USD just because those countries are in deep shit, while USD is looking stable... However, If USD goes into deep shit, usually the other paper currencies (usually any other FIAT out there, exceptions may happen) which are tied to USD also go with the USD. (or vice versa)
